Drag your mouse to the right edge of the screen. Goto Search and type “Control Panel”Select Control Panel on the left.

Goto Programs – Uninstall a program

Search for Software Version Updater and click the Uninstall button

Search for AwesomeHP Uninstaller and click the Uninstall button

Search for WPM17.8.0.3325 and click the Uninstall button

Search for SupTab and click the Uninstall button

Remove Quick Start (NewTab) extension from your browser

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer2. goto “wrench” icon in top right corner3. Select Internet Options4. Goto tab Advanced5. Select Reset button6. Enable Delete personal Settings7. Click Reset button8. Restart Internet Explorer

Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome

2. type in the address bar: http://chrome:extensions or (Goto the 3 stripes in the top right corner, select Settings and on the left side: Extensions)

3. Remove Quick Start 3.1.1 by clicking the trash can icon, right next to the browser extension.

4. Restart Google Chrome

Mozilla Firefox

Remove Quick Start (NewTab) using AdwCleaner

AdwCleaner will display the following informational alerts and starts rebooting the computer.

All programs will be closed in order to proceed correctly to the removal of the infections. Please save any work in progress and the click [OK]

If you have been brought to use AdwCleaner, it’s probably because your PC contained potentially unwanted programs or adware.Potentially unwanted programs are often proposed during the installation of software. After the reboot a logfile will open. The logfile in Windows XP and Windows 7 will open once the desktop is started. Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Perform a Quick Scan when scan is done, right click in the results and select “Check all items“ Click “Remove Selected” button

Reset browser settings

Goto tab Advanced Select Reset button

Enable Delete personal Settings Click Reset button

Restart Internet Explorer

Reset Google Chrome to default settings

Open Google Chrome Goto the three stripes in the right top corner (menu) Select Settings

Scroll down to the end of the page, search for + Show advanced settings

Scroll down once again to the end of the page and click Reset browser settings button

Click Reset once more

Reset Mozilla Firefox to default settings

Open Mozilla Firefox Goto the orange Firefox button in the top left Select Help > Troubleshooting information

Select Reset Firefox

Confirm Reset Firefox

Select Finish Mozilla Firefox will automatically restart
