It includes: an overview of SCM, aligning the supply chain with the strategy of the organization, managing the supply chain, and improving the supply chain.

Day 2: Building Competitive Operations, Planning, andLogistics

This section addresses processes and techniques used in successful supply chains to deal with changes in the global marketplace and environments. It includes: demand planning, product design, operations planning and control, inventory and logistics.

Day 3: Managing Customer and Supplier RelationshipsThis section addresses creating alliances and partnerships and working in non-traditional ways with suppliers and customers. It includes: an overview of supply chain relationships, the specifics of customer and supplier relationship management, and integrated supply chain networks.

Day 4: Using Information Technology (IT) to Enable Effective Supply Chain Management (SCM)This section addresses how IT systems support collaborative supply chain processes and enhance supply chain performance. It includes: essentials for understanding the role and uses of information technology and specific applications –ERP, MRP & etc.

Day 5: Case Studies & Open Book ExaminationInternal and external Case Studies & Feed back, Presentation and Open book examination.

( MIPMM ) was formed in 1977 As a National institution, it focuses on promoting the importance of Purchasing and Materials Management for economic advancement. MIPMM also aims to upgrade educational standards of the profession by providing training and certification to meet the increasing demand for qualified and competent workforce of the industry.

MIPMM is a non profit,self sustainable institution. The management of the Institute is vested in Governing Council of fifteen members. The National centre is based in Penang with regional centres in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and Johore Bahru.

In 1984, MIPMM was admitted as an affiliated member of the distinguished International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM). Being a member of an international body, paved the way for the Institute to assume a more pro-active role in regional purchasing and materials management.The Institute has shown significant progress during its existence of ower two decades. It has a membership strength of more than 1,000 people throughout Malaysia. Today, MIPMM has fortified its role as the leading institution in promoting professional developments in the field of purchasing and materials management.

The Persatuan Alumni AOTS Malaysia (or the AOTS Alumni Society of Malaysia) was officially set up in 1985 by a group of Malaysians who had undergone
