Putrajaya City Tour in Melacca Duck Tour Baba Nyonya Museum World Youth Foundation Meeting

Putrajaya “Putra" means prince , “Jaya" means "success" or "victory".

The Malaysian government establish the new town. On February 1, 2001 , it became the third Federal Territory in Malaysia. Located at the southwest of the Malay Peninsula The whole area is surrounded with vast, undulating magnificent mountains. Form a dynamic, a quiet and pleasant environment.

Putrajaya It is also the new administrative capital under the

Malaysia Plan

After nearly six years of planning and construction, is now a modern large-scale new city, has also become one of the latest tourist attractions in Malaysia.

City Tour in Melacca : Malacca is an old Dutch colony of Malaysia's historic

city,

This historical edifice dominates Malacca's renowned Dutch Square, or also known as the Red Square because of the crimson coloured old buildings there.

Also located at the Square is Christ Church, the former Dutch Reformed Church of Malacca, where the pious Dutch people of the town had often congregated long before.

Duck Tour This vehicle can travel both on the road and in the

water. It looks similar like a boat but just add 4 tyres and you will see a boat cruising on the road.

Duck tours offers a combined city, island and harbor tour without the hassle of switching craft.

The Duck Tour will enter the Straits of Melaka from Floating Mosque towards the Great Island before entering back Banda Hilir at Melaka River.

Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum Straits Chinese or the Baba and Nyonya are

Chinese of noble descendents who adopted much of the Malay culture.

Located at Jalan Tan Cheng Lock is the first private cultural museum. The museum boasts of exhibitions that include unique Baba and Nyonya handicrafts, furniture, dining ware, ceremonial ornaments and garments.

The Babas and Nyonyas are said to be very Chinese in spirit and tradition but Malay in form. They speak the malay patois which is malay mixed with Chinese phrases.

World Youth Foundation Meeting We met the students from other schools in Malaysia. We chatted together and exchanged e-mails too.

We made many new friends!!!!!!!

Feelings Yau Chi Pak (1C) I went to Malaysia and felt very happy

because I made new friends there. They were very helpful and kind .

After I tasted the Malaysian food , I found that

it was very spicy . In this trip , I have learnt a lot and I bought some souvenirs . I will go to Malaysia again in the future.

Feelings Leung Nim Yan (1A) I went to Malaysia on a five days trip. In

Malaysia, I made a lot of friends. We keep in touch through facebook and e-mails.

The teenagers in Malaysia were very

kind. They know about some Hong Kong singers. Thus, we had some common topics to chat with.

Feelings Chan Ching Hei (1A) This Malaysia study tour is very successful.

I learnt to be co-operative , helpful and patient. Moreover, I have made a lot of friends. I am very happy . This trip provides me a chance to speak more English.

Feelings Lau Tsz Wing (1N) After talking to the students in Malaysia, I

knew there are many people with different nationalities living in Malaysia , such as Malaysians, Indians, Chinese etc.

Besides, I drank Indian milk tea. It was

yummy. And I saw the fireflies, they were very beautiful. Finally, we visited Chong Hwa Independent High School, I was very happy.

Feelings Lee Wai Yee (4E) In this four day five night tour, I was very

happy . In this trip, I made a lot of friends. We exchanged the Facebook accounts. I liked the Duck Tour because it was very interesting . Malaysian food is very spicy , but it is yummy . After this trip , I learnt some Malaysian culture , it was very unforgettable .

Feelings Wu Ying Ki (4E) I was very happy for this Malaysia exchange !

This exchange allowed us to make a lot of friends and exchanged the e-mails with each other . When we entered the high school, the teachers and the students were friendly. It is a great experience for most of us .

And we tasted the Malaysian food, it was very

special . And we could know more about the Malaysian culture.

Feelings Chan Ka Yu (5A) I was so glad that I could learn some

Malaysian history and culture. I could make some new friends who were very friendly and nice in Malaysia. In Malaysia, I could always speak English. That could train my English. If I had a chance to go to other countries again in the future, I will go to Malaysia again.

Feelings Chan Chun To (5L) From 27/4 to 1/5, I went to Malaysia. I have

learnt Malaysian culture and met a lot of students from many different countries. It broadened my horizons as well as vision. So I will recommend Malaysia to my friends to travel. The whole trip is very meaningful.
