I’m going to continue talking to you about making right choices. We Have to continue to make them everyday if we want to stay on course. There are many distractions that are going to try to detour us from our destination with God. But there is only one way to heaven. Satan’s strategy if to create road blocks, that will stop you from reaching your destiny. The enemy’s desire is to uproot you from where God has placed you and where He is taking you. Thomas asked Jesus how could they know the way to the house of the Father. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one cometh to my Father, but through me.” Jesus was talking about the only path that can take us to an everlasting eternity into heaven. At this very moment Jesus is preparing a place for you and I in his Father’s mansion, if we continue to make right choices. There’s only one way. So, who do we follow, Jesus or man? When I say man, sometimes we choose to follow our own humanistic reasoning. It’s another week, but you are still on the same road. It’s the middle of the afternoon. The SON is right above you. There is plenty of light shining so you can see where you are going. There might be some new distractions or temptations luring you to make a sudden exit. Don’t quit now! That’s the last thing you want to do is exit your destination! Usually when we are traveling on a long trip, the drive may seem endless. Going through the mountains can especially make a person tired. Four, five hours pass, you’re exhausted and weary. You really can’t see where you are going because the mountains won’t let you see your path. But that’s when you must not look with your eyes, but see with your heart. What is at the end of the road? Thoughts keep going

MAKING MORE RIGHT CHOICES

Last time I talked to you about making right choices.I’m going to continue talking to you about making rightchoices. We Have to continue to make them everyday if wewant to stay on course. There are many distractions that aregoing to try to detour us from our destination with God. Butthere is only one way to heaven. Satan’s strategy if to createroad blocks, that will stop you from reaching your destiny. The enemy’s desire is to uproot you from where God hasplaced you and where He is taking you.

Thomas asked Jesus how could they know the way to

the house of the Father. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one cometh to my Father, but through me.”Jesus was talking about the only path that can take us to aneverlasting eternity into heaven. At this very moment Jesusis preparing a place for you and I in his Father’s mansion, if we continue to make right choices. There’s only one way.So, who do we follow, Jesus or man? When I say man, sometimes we choose to follow our own humanistic

reasoning. It’s another week, but you are still on the same road.

It’s the middle of the afternoon. The SON is right above you. There is plenty of light shining so you can see where you aregoing. There might be some new distractions or temptationsluring you to make a sudden exit. Don’t quit now! That’s thelast thing you want to do is exit your destination! through your head:“Maybe I should turn back?”“Isn’t there an easier way?”“This is enough, can I stop now?”

You definitely don’t want to make a sudden exit that willput a halt to your destiny. Don’t give up. The road to your destiny is necessary, it represents growth as well as all thelongsuffering that you have endured to get where you are.Sometimes we get too anxious, impatient because we don’tsee results, so we end up aborting our mission. When youarrive at the end of your journey, everything that has

happened to you throughout life had a purpose. All thechoices you made, all the right choices that brought you towere you had hoped to be.

There were many times you could have escaped theafflictions, the hardships, and trials. All you had to do is takethe closest exit on that road to your destiny. So, can we trustGod tomorrow as much as yesterday. Yesterday’s resultsare in, we know God is in control. The question is, will we let

Him have full control? We can continue to make choicesthat will best suit our desires, but can we let God makedecisions that will best suit our needs.

II Timothy 4:1-81 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord

Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (those who are alive)and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word ( preach the Gospel, preach Truth,

God‘s Word ); be instant (be ready, be prepared, stay onalert ) in season (in time of need; convenient ), out of season(lack of opportunity ): reprove (to complete fully finish),rebuke (forbid ), exhort (be of good comfort, desire; pray ) withall longsuffering (endure suffering, trials, storms) anddoctrine (instruction).

3 For the time will come when they will not enduresound doctrine (instruction; teaching; learning ); but after their own lusts (fleshly desires) shall heap (to accumulate further;to seek additionally ) to themselves teachers, having itching

ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and

shall be turned into fables (tales; myths; fiction).Fables: No truth, lies, far from the truth, stories

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do thework of an evangelist, make full proof (to convince; most surely believe; persuade; to carry out in evidence) of thyministry. (service of a servant )

6 For I am now ready to be offered (to devote one‘s lifeor blood as sacrifice), and the time of my departure (capture;to be taken) is at hand.

Departure: to leave and go to your destination,go into eternity7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, Ihave kept the faith:

Course: race, journey, life here on earth

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness (the prize), which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but untoall them also that love his appearing.

Paul warns us in II Timothy chapter 4, to be prepared inseason and out of season. We must preach the Word of God, preach truth, no matter what the consequences. Therewill come a time when people will be after their fleshly

desires, and will not listen to truth, but turn away and onlyhear what they want to hear even myths. We must staystrong in our faith and endure all situations until the end of your race.

bridegroom did not know who they were. The inviter knowswho He invites. He had not invited these five foolish virgins. In my dream I was not invited, I was trying to go in throughanother door. But Jesus is the Door. He’s the Gate. There

are no short cuts, there are no half-truths, there is only oneway to the Father.

Was I prepared? Was I presentable? On the invitationlist? We got to make sure our name remains on the book of life. Ephesians 5:27 says: That he might present it tohimself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or anysuch thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Are we going to let the word of God process and position us

toward our goal. So, what did the man at the door meanwhen he said I looked like a boy? A bride ready for marriage, is a female. If Jesus is the bridegroom, then wemust be the bride. He did not recognize me. Did I look likea Christian? I was not on the invitation list. A traditionalbridal gown is white. White representing pureness, holiness, and righteousness. That’s how we should present ourselvesbefore God on the day of judgment.

To tell you the truth you probably will encounter manymountains until the day you leave this earth, but Jesus said,“if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say tothe mountain, move. And it shall be removed, and nothingshall be impossible for you. So, can choose to follow God’swill for our life
