Approaching this from the consumer’s end would—who you eventually would be dependent on for your bread and butter— make you see things in a different light. Let’s take up bars for instance. The liquor industry is thriving more than ever, and apparently no amount of taxes or custom duty can keep a man away from his booze. It is the literal translation of festivity and indulgence. The prospects are bright of making out huge you can choose a theme to stick to. The initial lump would be substantial, no doubt. But windfall returns usually follow. The best bet to make your place a hit is to keep the target audience the upper middle class. Too exorbitant or blatantly tasteless places both run the risk of getting lost in the crowd. You can also use up social media, advertising at PVR Saket, or through Sodexo and other coupon sites as an effective tool to create brand awareness. However, the flip side is, acquiring the license for a liquor retailing and the initial amount you need to pump in.
