Making the glue

• Mix together milk and vinegar

• Heat the mixture• Filter it• Divide the solid into

portions• Neutralise each portion

with a different base• Repeat with a different

milk

Testing the glues

• Set up a testing station • Rest the lolly sticks on

two chairs with a gap between them

• Hang weights on the lolly sticks

• Record what weight they can hold before the glue fails
