•When using adjectives to compare anything or anyone you insert the adjective in between the comparison phrase, Mas…. que or menos…..que.

•When comparing items with verbs or nouns without adjectives you put the phrase together.

• Use tan…. como= as….as, to compare items using adjectives when they both exhibit that quality equally.

• Use tanto como= as much as, when you compare items without an adjective but with a verb when both exhibit that quality equally.
