Today, IDIR is a market leader in Italy for turnover and for the realisation of joint projects (IAM observatory – Polytechnic University of Turin).Its business model is based on the creation of long-term partnerships with manufacturers and distribution networks, who share value in terms of personnel, processes and technology.
Every day, IDIR supplies 700 wholesalers and spare parts dealerships throughout Italy. It ships over 13.000 spare parts and collaborates with the best partners for production and services.

Milestone1950 The Monzeglio family, with a few collaborators, opened a small spare parts shop in the centre of Naples
1980 IDIR was born in Casalnuovo di Napoli with the intention of being a fully fledged entrepreneurial company
1997 The first management prototype for sales was developed. Over the years it becomes a model, handling 80% of sales.
2000 IDIR found and became a partner of the IDIA Group. The network of distributors of spare parts developed the project “Point Service” on a National scale which today comprises of roughly 2800 independent garages: representing the principle aftermarket distribution model in Italy
2003 IDIR becomes a distributor for Bosch. Over the years it becomes the main distributor in Italy
2008 IDIR becomes part of the International group Temot
2011 sees the first dropshipping on eBay
2012 Growth imposes a “logistical” change on the company which sees the opening of a second warehouse managing and handling the bodywork division
2013 Sees the initiation of the B2C project, delivering directly in Italy through dropshipping for the principle partners of the Point Service network
2013 sees the purchasing of a new site in Afragola (formerly Proprietà Di Pietro)

From 2014IDIR together with OVAM, two of the biggest market leaders in the Italian aftermarket sector, strengthen their partnership creating NSD srl - both holding a 50% stake in the venture.An innovation with no equal in Italy: two companies serving the same market, with numerous similarities, and a consolidated turnover of almost €110 million, already. Both companies present themselves united by a dynamic development plan that aims to double aggregate sales within 5 years.
Various points of synergy: a mix of similar products made up of more than 70 brands from the main component manufacturers, who have already expressed their intention to back the venture, in as much as NSD already represents them: their principle Italian customers; a capillary and complimentary distribution network able to ensure coverage across the north, centre and south of the peninsula.
