Mission “To create a sustainable network in which the knowledge gained contributes to the improvement of member country’s public expenditure management (PEM) systems”
Objectives To facilitate the exchange of experiences on
o specific, high priority PEM reforms and their implementation,
o the analysis of common challenges faced by member countries,
o the benchmarking of PEM performance across member countries.

PEMNA is..
• A demand-driven, peer-learning network of practitioners in public expenditure management
• Established in June 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand (4th year of Operation)
• 14 member countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam

• Secretariat: Korean Institute of Public Finance (KIPF)
• Supported by: Korea’s Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MoSF), Philippines Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the World Bank with close partnership with the IMF and OECD

Responsibilities
o To propose PEMNA activities which provide opportunities for knowledge sharing between, and learning by, members
o To plan and prepare for each proposed CoP activity a work program and budget allocation
o To facilitate discussions and exchanges between members
o To coordinate with the CoP facilitator and Secretariat to ensure that CoP activities are executed as planned and for the benefit of CoP members
