potential so that maximal function is achieved,

deformity prevented or reduced and the effect

of disability minimized, so that they may

overcome many of their barriers that they and

their families face.

About Us

Makindye Children’s Hope is a Community Based Organization with Reg. No MAK/18/063, founded in the year

of 2016, by Magret Mukamazimaka and a group of dedicated Members, it started as a family foundation with

a number of 8 Children.

Today Makindye Children’s Hope has touched a number of hearts of Children and their relatives in Makindye

Division and Bombo in Wakiso District, about 50 Children are under the help of MCH and our Sponsors

VISION

OBJECTIVES

To provide occupational therapy, physiotherapy

and speech language therapy assessment and

rehabilitation to Children aged 0-16years in

order to help them meet their developmental

goals

To rehabilitate Orphans, street Children,

abandoned Children, widows and single

mothers upholding their rights and improving

their talents

To teach and equip them with Vocational skills

in order to empower them to be self-sustaining

in future, discover and promote

To provide basic needs like food, shelter,

clothing, medication, education, fight drug

addiction, sexual abuse, child labour and

HIV/AIDS

To acquire properties for the Organization, that

will benefit the members, promote and protect

their rights and interest hold and improve the

standards of the Organization.

To maintain accepted and expected and

standards of members, to receive money by way

of gift, grant and fundraising from Churches,

schools and other international developmental

Organizations, with or without allowance there

on

To seek expert advice and consultation for

Children, Widows, single mothers, and missions

whenever need arises, encourage and promote

friendly relations among our members and

surrounding community

To correspond with outside bodies/personalities that

have similar aims and objectives, create various

sources of income from which the Organization can

afford to run its affairs

To develop a family-centered environment that

can provide information, support, advocacy, and

networking for families and their communities

Our Commitment

Margret herself is a mother of 7 Children 2 are girls and 5 are

boys, therefore her love towards Children is much, he loves to

see every Child happy, she is a born again Christian and God

fearing individual, she is married since 1965. Since her

Childhood she has been helping different Categories of people

this implies that her heart for helping is true.
