NEWS Welcome to Camp! Take a look at what we did today Today we practiced pitching for this aſternoon’s Showcase! Everyone worked really hard to finish their commercials on iMovie. e commercials are a fun way for the students to express themselves using what they’ve learned throughout the week. Plus, now all the campers know how to use iMovie so they can create videos at home too! We are so proud of everyone’s willingness to par- ticipate in all the activies this week. e change we’ve witnessed throughout the week has amazed us and each camper’s confidence today blew our staff away. Many of our students took huge strides this week by trying something new or working with someone new - we were so thrilled to see the teamwork and bright ideas unfold! Your children truly showed creativity, innovation, and true inspiration. We cannot wait to watch these students as they continue on the path of making, tin- kering and building as entrepreneurs! Fun Friday: 6/22-6/26 Youth StartUp Youth Startup pro- vides kids with hands on knowledge of what it takes to start a business. Over the week students will work together to brainstorm ideas for their company. ese student teams will work on everything from customer develop- ment to competitive analysis. In addition to research, students will be tasked with building an initial proto- type of their product, testing it, and presenting it! Campers will take the skills they have learned and create a company and product in just one week! By developing skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and innovation students, will break the mold and learn to embrace challenges positively. During the last day of camp students will pitch their product and showcase a fully functional demo site. Entrepreneurship education is critical to a well-rounded student and one of the best giſts you can give your child. We look forward to seeing you soon!
