Christmas Day at Armathwaite Hall is all about choice. Do you relax in your own way or indulge in all of our activities? Whether you want to celebrate peacefully or get involved, there is something for all tastes.

The star of the day is our six course traditional Christmas Day lunch served in the Lake View restaurant. Follow that up with mince pies and The Queen’s Speech before heading out for a candlelit walk around our beautiful grounds.

In the evening, enjoy a luxury buffet if you have any room left – where you can also enjoy tales spun by a local storyteller. Of course you could always simply eat and then unwind all day long in our spa.

Get out onto the fells with low or mid-level guided fell walking with a packed lunch provided. Return and be greeted by hot mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies – or simply have a long lie in. In the evening, sit down for a black tie

dinner followed by a casino night with prizes to be won.

The next morning it is sadly time to depart from our hotel having created new magical memories that you will treasure forever.

Booking ConditionsApplicable throughout the festiveperiod.

• Prices throughout are per person, based on sharing a double or twin room and are inclusive of VAT at 20% (prices will be subject to change if the vat rate is changed).

• Where children are sharing with their parents an extra folding bed will be placed in the room.

• Decorated Christmas trees are available in your bedroom for the duration of your stay (charged at £35.00 per tree).

• A confirmed booking verbal or written constitutes a binding contract.

• A £200 per person non refundable deposit is requested to secure all bookings. A proforma invoice will be forwarded and full payment is required by 1st December 2019. Should payment not be made by this date Armathwaite Hall reserve the right to release the booking for resale. All reservations made after 1st December 2019 must be paid in full at time of reservation.

• Cancellation charges will be 100% within 28 days of arrival. Cancellation insurance details can be obtained from all insurance brokers and we strongly recommend this action in the unlikely event of you having to cancel.

• Armathwaite Hall reserve the right to alter the sequence of events if it becomes necessary
