The official Roald Dahl Day takes place every year on 13th September – the birthday of the World’s No. 1 Storyteller. This year, Roald Dahl Day falls on Friday 13th, making it the perfect excuse for even more mischief and mayhem than usual.

1. Collect 15 random household objects, for example Nevermore Ponking Deodorant and flea powder.
2. Lay all the objects on a table.
3. Give mischief-makers one minute to look at them.
4. Make everyone cover their eyes and hide a few objects.
5. Now let everyone look again – they have one minute to write down what’s missing.
6. The winner is the person who remembers the most objects.
