Dear Cattlemen,

I’d like to welcome you to my first annual Commercial Cow and two-year-old bull sale. This type

of sale is a new concept to Majestic Cattle Company and we are pleased to showcase high-end

commercial seed stock. We are offering you the best animals we have raised and assembled. We

have culled for feet, udders and disposition. The cows are bred to our very best Black Charolais

bulls to add that extra weight per day of age and performance that will, in return, add extra profit

to your pocket. The Angus bred heifers are home raised and purebred but will be sold without

registration papers. They were synchronized and AI’d May 28, 2014 to Remington Tex 155R. He is a

proven calving ease sire with a straight Canadian pedigree. Remington Tex will sire daughters that

will be bred for longevity and his genetics are an outcross to most of the genetics currently used in

the Angus breed.

The offering of two-year-old bulls consists of three breeds - Simmental, Angus and Black Charolais.

They have been developed on a growing ration and not fed hard, resulting in an increase in longevity

of the bulls. The bulls were on grass all summer up to November 10 with only the last 60 days being

fed a 16% protein pellet along with native grass. The bulls pack adequate condition and should be

easy to maintain this winter. They are bred and raised to work on large pastures.

The Angus bulls will pass on maternal calving ease, mothering ability, and udder quality. The

Simmental bulls will raise you replacement quality females with extra performance and steer

calves with a higher weight per day of age and a higher yield. The Black Charolais bulls are a total

performance breed. They offer extra weight per day of age, with a bit more growth and frame that

some producers may be looking for.

All bulls must be picked up on sale day; they will sell with a satisfactory semen test and have been

tested within the last 30 days. Insurance may be purchased through Balog Auctions. All females will

be preg tested and confirmed pregnancy dates will be listed on a supplement sheet.

We are pleased to have two guest consignors contributing to the sale. Mike and Nancy Earley from

Ontario will be showcasing a group of two-year-old Angus and Simmental Bulls. The bulls were

raised under the same conditions as Majestic Cattle Company’s bulls. Kelly Richardson will be

contributing two Purebred Simmental bred heifers. The females are AI’d to reputable Simmental

bulls. They will be selling with registration papers, both are tie broke and come from fantastic hard-

working dams and are sired by a bull from Czech-Mate Simmentals.
