The CMZ Keep On Turning services, help you to maximize the production during the machine´s entire life cycle. Keep On Turning is founded on one of the pillars of the Lean Manufacturing, the total productive maintenance (TPM).
To achieve the TPM, we have created three products based on the predictive maintenance. In this way, we can avoid breakdowns and minimize defects.
Periodical inspection enables you having a reliable production. This is possible with CMZ Essentials. This contract allows you to have a predictive maintenance in your machine, maximizing the availability of it.
With Essentials we will do a comprehensive inspection of the lathe using a maintenance checklist created by a CMZ specialist. The basic consumables can also be replaced so that the machine will work at optimum conditions. If we identify additional service requirements are needed for keeping the lathe in optimal condition, you will benefit from a special discount on the hourly labour rate and on the spare parts if needed.
The spare parts reductions are applied not only during the inspection, you will have special discounts for the duration of the whole contract.
In order to give you the best information, we have engineered a comprehensive checklist to guarantee a detailed inspection of the machine. You can benefit from the preventative maintenance and ensure the maximum machine availability.
This partnership includes further benefits like discounts for spare parts during the whole contract. Additionally, you will have priority response to a machine breakdown and preference in the free technical advice given always by CMZ engineers via our service hotline. You can choose among our three available service contracts: Essentials, Advanced and Pro.

PREVENTATIVE ANDCORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE
The CMZ Advanced brings you to the next level of maintenance. Advanced includes both, preventative and corrective maintenance in order to maximize the efficiency of the lathe.
Preventative maintenance is performed using a detailed checklist created by our factory engineers. Corrective maintenance includes a geometrical alignment of the machine and advices on the replacement of special kits of consumables designed by specialist to guarantee and maximize the machine performance.
Advanced will have a big positive impact in your productivity, maximizing the performance and the efficiency of the machine and reducing the downtime.
MAXIMIZE THE PRECISIONOF YOUR LATHE
The CMZ Pro is created for those who want to have their lathe in the best condition all the time. With the Pro, you will have two visits per year from a CMZ specialist.
We will check all the machine, with an exhaustive checklist. Geometry alignment is performed as well as specially purposed geometry tasks and test that will ensure the maximum precision of the lathe.

If you need to replace the spindle we can do it with the minimum downtime guaranteed through the elimination of the repairing time.
Standard Interchanges are ready to be delivered to your facilities so as to be replaced. This way, we can make the repair in almost one day maintaining the maximum quality. TOOLHOLDERSINSPECTIONAND REPAIR
As toolholder manufactures, we have the knowhow of their construction. We can inspect and repair all our toolholders leaving them as new. We check which parts of the toolholder are in bad condition to change only those ones. In that way, we repair the toolholder at a lower cost.

RETROFIT YOURLATHE FOR A TOPPERFORMANCE
CMZ hotline service offers the fastest response, given directly by the company engineers.
Unlike other companies, we use no subcontractors to be able to give you the best service from the very first minute. As a manufacturer we provide full knowledge of our machines.
The master engineers are in communication with the design department and with manufacturing departments, in order to give you the best solution in the shortest time.Engineers can also give advice related to programming doubts.
In order to solve all the problems, we use the latest technologies such as Telediagnosis. If you are having any trouble, the service engineer can connect to your lathe and handle it from our headquarters.
Linear scales: Linear encoders provide the highest measurement accuracy possible. Since linear encoders measure distance directly, leadscrew accuracy and backlash are not a factor in the measurement system.
Tool life management function: With an early detection of the tool breakage you will prevent damage to machine components. Besides, you will improve the quality of the workpieces and reduce the tool cost.
Oil skimmer: Having the coolant clean is indispensable for maintaining your lathe´s performance. With an oil skimmer you will remove contaminants avoiding issues in your machine, keeping your production quality at the highest level.
High pressure coolant pumps: If you need more coolant pressure for a concrete part, we have coolant pumps that can work up to 50 bars of pressure.
Barfeeders: Boost lathe productivity with high speed barfeeders. Deliver a continuous supply of raw machining stock to the lathe to maximize and automate the production.
Automatic doors and part catcher with conveyors: Automate the production and reduce the parts machining time and the part cost. Be more competitive maximizing the production.
3D models, NC Guide and Software options: If you need 3D models for the CAD-CAM ask us. We can also implement the NC Guide in your lathe or special software options.
If you want to boost the performance of your lathe, you can add accessories to improve it and maximize the precision and production.
Advanced geometry check:After a long service period, the lathe´s precision can change. We can check the geometry and correct it by parameters. We use the latest technologies to measure, doing an extensive geometry testing so we can ensure an optimum precision of the machine.
Advanced clamping check:If you want to know if your chuck is working correctly, you can check the clamping force with a special instrument. In this way you can know exactly the clamping force that you are using with your parts.
