Sound System (Speakers, Controller, Microphones)

Speaker Stands:

Open the speaker stands, using the bottom knob displayed in the image below, to a

suitable width (ask DJ for confirmation that your width is good).

Once your speaker stands are placed correctly, pull the aluminum piece to the top by

pressing in on the side buttons and pulling up.

Place your speaker scrim onto the speaker stand. Then place your speaker onto the

aluminum pole and then loosen the top knob to lift the speaker to the desired height.

Once the height is set correctly tighten the knob.

Speakers:

With your speaker on the scrimmed speaker stand plug the XLR and power cables into

the back of the speaker as shown below.

Controller (SX):

Open the SX and pull the power cable (see image below) and plug it in.

Take the USB and put it through the hole on the left side (facing the SX as in the first

image above).

Lastly, plug the other end of the XLR from the speaker into the back of the SX as shown

below.

Microphones:

Pull the base out of the case and plug the XLR into the back as well as the power adapter.

Be sure to loop the power adapter as seen below to prevent accidental unplugging.

For the main microphone plug the other end of the XLR into the “Mic 1” XLR input of

the back of the SX.

For the toast or backup microphone plug the ¼” adapter into the “Mic 2” input of the SX.
