Main Features
MessagePoint’s user interface, together with RT modems
and terminals, offers users the ability to send and receive
threaded chat messages and transfer files easily,
efficiently and reliably over HF and V/UHF radio links.
MessagePoint is a Microsoft® Windows® application.
Recipients can be selected from an Address Book. Email is
supported via the POP3 & SMTP interfaces using well
known email clients such as Microsoft® Outlook®.
MessagePoint will ensure accurate delivery to other RT
users on the radio network.
MessagePointRT CommandPoint
RT CommandPoint is a Situational Awareness application
that aids Commanders in operational theatre visualization
and communication. It allows rapid and intelligent control
of the battlefield for Company and Platoon-level
commanders. CommandPoint has been designed to run
on a touch-screen tablet PC or laptop computer running a
Windows operating system. Positions of RT devices and
other points are over-laid on detailed image and vector
maps. CommandPoint includes Voice, Text, SMS, Email, File
Transfer, Form and Report Message support as well as position
push, pull and geofencing.

Key Management Software (KMS)Secure key generation and distribution ensures that all over-the-air communications are end-to-end encrypted.
System Configuration Software (SCS)Easy-to-use software allows rapid creation and distribution of address books, network parameters and device configurations.
GatePoint serves as bridge between networks, with the
Radio Network on one side and Email Intranet and/or
GSM Networks on the other side. The software provides
email routing, compression, prioritization and resumption
as well as ability for GSM SMS messages to be sent and
received. Multiple GatePoint servers can be set up for a
single radio network, allowing for routing flexibility &
redundancy.

The RT1, RT3, RT5 and RT7 are rugged Tactical and Joint services
terminals that works with any HF, VHF or UHF radio to provide the
following services:
Secure Digital Voice
RT provides the next-generation radio speech encryption
solution for broadcast and private line communication.
RT Secure Digital Voice (SDV) uses the new language-
independent TWELP** low-rate vocoder. This is
combined with powerful AES-256 encryption and
modulated for HF/VHF/UHF use by a RapidM proprietary
Digital Voice waveform.
Position
Position push and pull capability of the RT units provides
an up to date Blue Force and Situational Awareness
picture.
Messaging
RT provides fast accurate messaging services such as:
Chat and QuickText, File Transfer: Pictures, etc, Reports:
CASEVAC, SITRAP, etc, Email with attachments, SMS to

CommandPoint XL
COMMANDPOINT XL is a Command Centre application that aids Commanders in operational theatre overview visualization and well as providing a directed voice and chat communication terminal. Force positions are overlaid on a large satellite and vector maps display whilst an operator console provides a messaging and control interface. Additionally, COMMANDPOINT XL also incorporates the Gateway functionality of GatePoint.
