Dirk Kolassa, Head of eMarketing EMEA, Alcatel-Lucent, Germany:

Dirk joined Alcatel-Lucent in 1999. He is responsible for Alcatel-Lucent’s eMarketing activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of the Corporate Marketing team. Gabriele Maltinti, Vice President Social Collaboration and Knowledge Management, Sodexo, France:

Born and educated in Pisa, Italy, Gabriele has spent the past 16 years working in the web technologies/digital workplace arena. Prior to joining Sodexo in 2005 to design and implement the company global e-Communications strategy first, and afterwards to work on the set up and implementation of enterprise 2.0 technologies, he has covered several international management consulting roles within KPMG and British Telecom Consulting Division, working for corporate clients such as Saint-Gobain, France Telecom, Alcatel-Lucent, EDF-GDF, Hacette - Filippacchi and JC Decaux.

Klavs Valskov, Head of Communications, Maersk Line, Denmark:

Klavs has worked in PR, marketing and communications since 1999 – with organizations such as L’Oreal, Accenture, Nordea Bank and in ministries for the Danish Government. He holds a double MA in Communications and Business Studies.

Since 2008 he has been Head of Communication and Branding for the world’s largest container shipping company, Maersk Line. His team of 25 people manages everything from internal mass comms and leadership comms to public relations, branding and customer campaigns, and controls all the company’s digital platforms. Klavs received Melcrum’s Rising Star award in 2011 for his groundbreaking work of positioning and us-ing the communication function to help turn his company, Maersk Line, around, in a period with massive change.

He is a 37-year-old Dane, married to Italian Francesca, together they have six-year-old daughter Sara.

Stéphane Aknin, e-Communications Director, AXA Group, France:

Stéphane has over 15 years experience in the digital industry. After he co-founded 35 mai Productions, one of the first web content agencies to introduce rich media concepts and technologies in 1998, he joined Angie, an independent French corporate communications agency, as partner in charge of digital and video activities, where he managed the biggest digital accounts for more than 7 years. In 2008, he decided to join the AXA Group, one of top insurance companies in the world, to manage the e-Communications department, in charge of ONE, the new global intranet and social plat-form and the corporate website AXA.com.

Jim is a member of WOMMA’s Legal Affairs Committee, the ANA’s Legal Affairs Committee, PMA’s Legal Center of Excellence, and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and is a former Associate Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He was born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio, and earned a B. S. in Systems and Control Engineering, with High Honors, from Case Western Reserve University in 1990, and his J.D., cum laude, from Michigan Law School in 1992. Jim lives in Atlanta with his wife Shawn, his son Max, and his daughter Morgan.

Tricia Mercaldo, Director Communications & Collaboration, Turner Broadcasting, United States:

Tricia Mercaldo has been with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. for over 25 years, hold-ing a variety of positions. Currently, she is a member of the Senior Leadership Team in Enterprise Applications and her responsibilities include the implementation of enter-prise collaboration tools, along with internal employee communications. Her team has successfully engaged employees in using SharePoint across the enterprise and has a focus on collaboration. She is currently working with the Technology Services team on an enterprise upgrade to O365, providing the customer-facing services such as training, communications, and employee self-service. She is a frequent speaker and is on the TAG Social board, and is a member of WICT and IABC.
