allow us to address any areas of need. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Summer Solstice Celebration
You are invited to join the fun on Thursday, June 27th at the Antelope
Square Shopping Center from 11 AM to 2 PM. This event is sponsored by
Continental East Development, Inc. which has made a generous donation to
our school. Their donation will allow us to upgrade our lighting system in the
MPR, improving the quality of our school performances. We appreciate this
gift and invite you to support them on this day. Mrs. Mutchnick will be
accepting the donation at the event!
Student Profile Form
Thank you to those families who filled out a Student Profile Form this school
year. We will use this as a reference in placing your child. We want to
remind you that our first priority in building classes is developing balanced
classes, and that we do not accept requests for particular teachers. We will
review your comments and make sure there is a match between your input
and the class placement. We thank you for understanding this and ask that
you are open-minded when receiving your students’ placement in August.
Major concerns can be brought to administration’s attention, but class
changes will not be made until the second or third week of school.
Report Card Information Many of the summer sports camps require a grade check before
participation, so please remember to keep the report card your student
received at end of year or get a copy from the school site before our offices
close for the summer.
Pathfinder Ranch
Fifth graders will be attending Pathfinder Ranch camp from October 7th to
9th. Payments will be accepted starting August 1st in the front office and must
be received no later than September 20th (cash only). If you have any
questions, please see Mrs. Erikson in the front office.
Target
We know many of you are regular Target shoppers! Please consider
opening a Red Card which is a debit card (you can set up to have charges
go to your bank card or any credit card) that gives you a 5% discount on all
purchases. When you register your card to our school, 1% of your
purchases will be donated to Lisa J. Mails. This is a super easy way to
show your support and the 1% adds up! Thank you for considering!
Book Fair/Summer Reading
Thank you to everyone for a huge turnout for our Spring Book Fair. It was a
wonderful success!
We would also like to remind everyone about the Barnes and Noble Summer
Reading Program. Students who read any eight books between May 21st
and September 3rd and bring in the completed reading journal to Barnes and
Noble will receive a FREE book. Here is the link to the program:
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/summer-reading/379003570/
Also, please check out the Murrieta Public Library and Temecula Public
Library for their summer reading programs for students. Click below on

Artists-in-Residence
We want to give a huge “Thank you” to all of our Artists in Residence who

disciplines. These artists included Mrs. Eskridge (Ceramics), Mrs. Peralta
(Dance), Mrs. McLain (Ceramics), Mrs. Cowan (Music), Mrs. Hankins
(Computer Art), and parent Mrs. Keitia Smith (Dance).
If your student is interested in taking Hip Hop dance lessons with Mrs.
Smith, please contact her at [email protected]. She is beginning to
start an interest list and would love to have your involvement!
