ABOUT US
Can Tho Ecolodge is the newest member of Asia Ecolodge, one of Vietnam’s leading operators in the realms of eco-accommodation. We started our progressive concept in 2014 with Mai Chau Ecolodge, our first eco-friendly resort nestled in the luxuriant valleys of northern Vietnam. Now, our experience and expertise has led us to Can Tho, the nature-flanked capital of the sprawling Mekong Delta, where our newest green vision finds its home.
OUR MISSION
At Asia Ecolodge, we believe that the future of travel is clean, green and responsible. Our mission is to forge a symbiotic relationship between visitors, locals, and nature, where each can benefit the other in profoundly meaningful ways. We commit to four key principles in pursuit of this: closeness to nature, environmental protection, cultural preservation, and responsible tourism. Like the waterways of the Mekong Delta, each concept is distinctly interwoven and part of a greater whole.

OUR HOME
Can Tho and the Mekong Delta provide an idyllic remedy to Vietnam’s rapid modernisation. Locals here live by the beat of the Mekong River, which courses and splits across 12 provinces in the deep south of the country. Vibrant jungles have fanned from the banks of countless waterways, evidencing the rich alluvial soil deposited by the Mekong on its final flow into the ocean. People, too, have profited from this fertile ground. Some of the rice paddies, fruit orchards, and villages here have grown from pre-historic beginnings when the Mekong Delta’s impossibly lush landscape proved irresistible to Vietnam’s first settlers. Over its long history, Can Tho has sprouted from humble hamlet to thriving city, yet its nature-blessed outskirts, home to Can Tho Ecolodge, still abide by the languid sway of the palm tree.

FOOD AND RESTAURANT
Our 4-star restaurant captures the long culinary traditions of the fruitful Mekong Delta. Rice and seafood are staples of the kitchen in Vietnam’s deep south and are farmed across 40,000km2 of paddies and rivers.
Guests can sit down to an à la carte or set menu service including distinguished favourites such as banana flower salad, grilled tiger shrimp and beef with pepper sauce. Every one of our dishes has established cultural grounding in the Mekong Delta and is served in a gorgeous red brick restaurant overlooking the swimming pool.

POOL AND BAR
Shimmering under the light of the Mekong sun, the beautiful 320m2 swimming pool is the luxurious heart of Can Tho Ecolodge. It is the embodiment of our homeland’s laidback flow and an excellent hub for family-friendly activity at the lodge, one flanked by sun loungers and shade-providing palm trees. The pool also features a separate area for kids and another for Jacuzzi-assisted melting into a tropical paradise.
Beside the swimming pool stands the curved bar, where visitors can survey the scene from atop wooden bar stools.
Our drinks menu is comprised of a great variety of domestic and international drinks, all served poolside for your utmost convenience.

NEARBY POINTS OF INTERESTCan Tho is located almost perfectly in the geographical centre of the Mekong Delta, meaning that we are within easy reach of some of its most gorgeous attractions:
Central Can Tho City (10km) – Central Can Tho offers diversity in wonderful Chinese and Cambodian architecture standing shoulder to shoulder with Vietnamese.
King Lotus Pagoda (35km) – A Buddhist pagoda with a lotus-filled pond in its grounds. These lotus flowers are enormous and can easily remain afloat under the weight of a human.
Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary (55km) – A 1.5-hectare home to tens of thou-sands of storks, who roost across its jungle canopy on a nightly basis
Binh Thuy Ancient House (15km) – This resplendent piece of Vietnamese-French architecture stands as a relic to the style imposed by France during its colonial rule.
