Justification
Undertake new challenges
Plan and initiate activities
Develop new skills
It was a challenging task to teach in an unfamiliar situation as the classes were taken outside the classroom and with students who didn't speak any english and had very little self confidence to participate in the class due to strict school regulations
I had to modify and tweak the course plan devised early in order to adjust with the pace of the respective class I was teaching, I also had to initiate activities according to their needs and requirements as a group and identify how they learn the best in order to ensure that knowledge is transferred and in an efficient manner
I had an experience of working with tribal children last academic year, and this activity enhanced my skills and enable me to develop an expertise in this field of teaching and also made me learn to use minimal resources to conduct such activities and then also deliver the same amount of knowledge.

Reflection
"Teaching has never been so amazing! It was a phenomenal experience - teaching in nature next to the lakes and the hills
and also giving us an opportunity to explore different learning techniques with the minimalistic resources"
Anuj MehtaI performed service at the Dahod model
school by passing on my knowledge about English to the tribal kids. They were about to appear for their board
examination, and English was one of the subjects that they had to face. Being
tribal kids, they were never exposed to the English language enough. This would not only cause a short-term
problem as passing exams would be hard, but, learning English would help
them grow, give them better opportunities and make them global
citizens. But by doing so, not only did the students at the school learn, but in
turn they taught me a lot as well. The most important thing they provided me
with was skills.
Tanisha PanditMy aim was to be more patient
with little kids. Teaching English helped me deal with my short
temper issues while. Coming to Dahod the second time helped
me deal with my anger, made me kind, and helped me to expand
my strengths and weakness. And in this process I was able to come up with solutions when the students didn't reacted the way
they were supposed to. Ultimately going to Dahod gave me an experience of a learner,
teacher and a individual.
