Basically the University offers its academic programmes in two major

areas of medical stream and technical stream of higher education.

In the case of the programmes of technical stream, major syllabus

12 Output of M.Phil & Ph.D. per faculty

On an average, output of eligible faculty members for M.Phil/Ph.D is 1.56

per teacher for MD/MS/MDS courses, this output is 3.76 per teacher and

for M.Tech./M.Pharma/M.Sc. (Nursing.) courses, the same is 3.86 per teacher in the University.

13 Revenue generated from consultancy per year

During the last Five years, the University has earned consultancy to the

tune of Rs.1,76,18,952/- which on an average comes to Rs.39,15,322/- per annum.

The University maintains two Central Libraries, one for the

institutions of medical stream and the other for the institutions of

technical stream.

While the ratio of total Books (Volumes) in the Central Library of

Technical Streams per student is 26:1, ratio of Book titles per student

is 5:1. Thus the overall combined ratio of total Books (Volume) per

student comes to 22.1 and the overall combined ratio of Book title

per student comes to 4.24.

Mr. Ankit Malhotra, MCA Batch 2011–14 developed an Android

based application “FM Radio India All Station” and signed an

Our Engineering students are amongst the students of 63 Universities of

the world with only three Indian Universities to participate in SAE AERO

DESIGN aircraft design competition held in LOS ANGELES (USA) in

March 2012 where “NASA” of US participated for judging the competition,

alongwith world’s famous aircraft manufacturing companies such

BOEING & LOCKHEED MARTIN was among the judging team and

won NASA SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AWARD. – Team 325 (March

2013).

Our Engineering students made a model IC Engine care which runs on

Nitro fuel having a top speed of 90 Km/hr and they achieved all India 1st

rank in Nitro car race competition held at IIT Madras and also achieved

2nd rank in the same event held at PEC Chandigarh. - Our students made an

ATV (All Terrain Vehicles) which is a prototype for SAE South Africa

competition held in February 2012 in Pune.

Awarded FIRST PRIZE in ASME-Students Design Competition in

Kshitij 2010 at IIT, Kharagpur.

Our Mechanical Engineering students made BAJA vehicle (Simulation

based) and in 2010 they achieved all Asia 50th rank in SAE BAJA

Bangalore competition and the best self-engineered vehicle design

competition.

Group of Mechatronics Engineering students in 2010 made fully

automated bottle filling, capping & packaging machine with the

application of most advanced technology used in industrial automation

nowadays

Mr. Rohit Gupta and Mr. Gaurav Mendiratta won First Prize at the

competition organised by American Society for Mechanical Engineering

at IIT Kharagpur in Feb-2010 for their innovation in designing:

Automatice waste Sorter.

Mr. Rahut Katiyar and Mr. Mandeep Singh Sethi, BPT students of the MM

Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation have been conferred with the

Meritorious Invention Award under the category of Budding Innovators

Award for the year 2008 which also carried a cash prize of Rs. One lac for

their rare contribution in innovating a Charismatic Chair which is a boon

for the Rehabilitation of Children with Cerebral Palsey.

A car named as “Trio”, was built by our students, which runs on LPG

especially the students, Alumni and employers. Further the feedback is

Recommendations of the stakeholders have been implemented to the

extent feasible in the best interest of the students. Recently, on the

undergraduate to postgraduate courses is nearly 12%, which exclusively

in the courses of Engineering stream is 20%; and from Postgraduate

As per decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, reservation policy is not
