    3. Are Mukhals another word for Angels?

    4. Which class of Jinn is best to contact and what is the difference? Marid or Ifreet?

    5. When the old rituals say that the Jinni will scare you, when trying to summonthem. What do they do?

    Outside.

They are on the walls facing you. Considering how close you need to be in frontof them, they can't be outside a circle.

    > 3. Are Mukhals another word for Angels?

    Is this word even Arabic?

    > 4. Which class of Jinn is best to contact and what is the difference? Marid orIfreet?

Neither unless you are advanced as they both can be potentially dangerous. It refers to different degree of rebelliousness. Marid being the more dangerous of the two.

on them. What do they do?>

Their presence is what causes fear. Some might go further by producing manifestations and terrifying visions, but it isn't necessary. Their presence is usuallyenough.

Imagine for a moment waking up and finding a blank panther on your bed sniffingyou with intent to consume you. If you wouldn't even skip a heart beat or breaka sweat at that moment, you are qualified to ignore those warning about the jinn.

You have been misinformed. The word Marid is from the same root as Tamarad (To Rebel). It refers to a jinn whose nature is to revolt against and rebel at everyopportunity. If the jinn had a Most Wanted List, these guys would be on it. It could also be a reference to their spiritual rebellion against the Divine, placing them on par with a category of strong demons.

All jinn are same specie, just like all humans are homo sapiens. There are no jinn whose nature is one Element versus the other. The ancient classifications of

    jinn were simple...

    First Name - Father's Name - Tribe's Name

They also added a 'nickname' that identified them based on:

    a) Spiritual statesb) Habitationc) Function / Vocationd) Planetary correspondence

So, for example, let's say we got a jinn named

    Bob son of David Gurion

    nicknamed 'of the Fires'

European occultists during the Renaissance seeing this would have said Bob Gurion is a Salamander King.

Actually, what it means is that Bob Gurion likes to live near sources of Fire such as a Volcano.

Further exploration might reveal that Bob Gurion is Sayaf (swordsman / executioner), Ulwee (aligned to the upper world aka spiritual), Ahmar (Red - most likelyassociated with Mars).

These were all useful keywords to help identify the exact jinn you wanted. Otherwise, if you just said said "Bob" come to me! You might get a Bob who just escaped Jinn maximum security prison and thinks you are a cute fuzzy human...

In case you think I am stretching things, al-Buni in his book on Jaljalutiah states that the seven jinn kings whose names are commonly used in magic were all killed/died/replaced with other jinn kings who were Muslims that have the same name.

This is interesting statement because according to other sources all the seven jinn kings are children of Abu Marah (Father of the Jinn King associated with theMoon). Abu Marah also known as Al-Hareth is a nick name for Iblis, the first Shitan.

    Hope this helps..
