License Key

After successful installation of Membership Subscription extension, you are now required to configure the license key in the admin configuration section. You can set it from:

Admin > System > Configuration > MageDelight > Membership > License Configuration. As shown in screenshot below:

You will find two text boxes asking for Serial Key and Activation Key, which you can find in the email you received upon the purchase of extension. See screenshot below:

Backend (Admin side) Membership Subscription

Manage Subscription plan

Once you successfully installed and configured the extension with your Magento setup, you will be provided with the options to manage membership subscription plans. You can create and manage

subscription plans. It’s very easy to create and manage subscription plans. Check the screenshot below:

Create Subscription plan

While you click on add new plan, you will be find simple form with various options to manage subscription plans. As show in the screenshot below:

Title: Membership subscription plan.

Description: Description about membership subscription plan. It support reach editor to manage HTML content.

Subscription Plan Image: upload image of subscription plan.

Status: Plan status to make it enable or disable.

Store View: It allows you to select store view, for which the subscription plan is available. Subscription plan will only listed for selected store views only.

Move Customer to group: Select customer group. If selected, the plan subscriber will move to selected group. This will let the admin manage special access to the customer who subscribes the particular plan.

URL key: This will be the URL key for subscription plan detail page at frontend, to make it more SEO

friendly.

Initial Fee: This will be the URL key for subscription plan detail page at frontend, to make it more SEO friendly.

Subscription Amount: This will be the URL key for subscription plan detail page at frontend, to make it more SEO friendly.

Billing Period: Day (Only PayPal Support)/Week, Bi Month, Month, Quarter, and Year.

Occurrence Type: Lifetime/Limited. Admin can configure the occurrence for limited period or even can enable it for lifetime. If plan occurrence is set for a life time, it will continue until the admin or subscriber

cancels it.

Total Occurrences: If occurrence type is set for limited period, the admin will define number of occurrence for subscription plan. After the number of occurrence the subscription plan will expire.

Maximum failed payment (Only PayPal will support): Only PayPal will support this feature. Admin can define the “maximum number payment failed allowed, if in case particular occurrence payment fails.

Still, the subscription can be continue till the defined number of failure. The failed amount would be

added to the next installment. Subscription will be suspended after a particular number of failure

occurrences.

Start Date Defined: Admin can have various options to set the start date of a particular subscription as below,

Defined By Customer: This will ask customer to select the date at the time of subscription. Movement of Purchase: Subscription will start on the same date of purchasing. Last Day of Current Month: Subscription will start on last day of month. Exact Day of Month: Admin can define day of month to start subscription.

Day of Month: If the start date is set as the exact day of month, admin can define particular day of the month. If day is set to 31, the last day would be considered for the month which has less than 31 days.

Number of Occurrences for Trial Period: Admin can allow customer for trial period by defining the

number of occurrence as trial period. If set as zero, it would consider as no trial period.

Trial Period Amount: Admin can set special fees for trial period. Here, defined amount would be charged during the trial period.

Manage Subscribers

With this extension, admin can manage subscribers of the subscription plan with full details about the subscribers. This would list subscribers at three different interfaces for more accessibility, so that it is

easy to track and manage subscription. As show in the screenshot below:

Subscription Detail Page

As shown, above are the subscription list at various interfaces. Admin can able to view the subscription details by clicking particular subscription. The Details page would shows full details about the customer,

payment, subscription plan and payment summary as shown in the screenshot below:

Membership Subscription Admin configuration

These are the general configurations that are available with the Membership Subscription extension,

here you can setup the global values, email templates, or you can even disable the membership

subscription extension if required.

Frontend Configuration

1. Enable Membership Subscription On Frontend This can enable/disable the membership subscription at the frontend.

2. Membership Plan image placeholder

If subscription plan doesn’t have an image, the placeholder image will be used. Even if

placeholder image doesn’t find, Magento default placeholder image will be used.

3. Terms and Condition

Here are the defined terms and conditions for subscription, which will be shown on subscription

detail page.

Membership List Page

1. Show Membership Link with It can be Top Links/Top Navigation block of Magento template.

2. Membership list page layout

Admin can select the page layout from available list of page layout for listing subscription plans

on frontend.

3. Link Title

Set subscription plan list page Meta title.

4. Header Title

Set subscription plan list page title.

5. Membership list page URL suffix

Membership plan page URL suffix can be set here for SEO friendly URL.

6. Membership list page URL Key

Subscription plan list page URL key can be defined here for SEO friendly URL.

Subscription Email Configuration

1. Subscription email sender Select the subscription email sender from the list of available contacts.

2. New Subscription email template

Select email template to send email on new subscription.

3. New Subscription email copy to

Defined comma separated emails to send copy of new subscription email.

4. Subscription status email template

Select email template to send email whenever subscription status is changed or updated.

5. Subscription stats email copy to

Select email template to send email on new subscription.

Frontend Membership Subscription

Once you have configured the membership subscription extension and created subscription plans for your servers, all the subscription plans will be listed on subscription plan list page. The membership link

will be visible at frontend at top links or top navigation according to the admin configuration. This will

then list all active membership plans with selected view layout. As shown in the below screenshot:

Each subscription plan will have details page that includes all the information about the plan along with

subscription charge, Initial fee, subscription amount, bulling period, trial period, trial fees. This also

shows the descriptive details about the plan on plan detail page. As shown in the screenshot below:

As described above, if admin has set subscription start date as defined by the customer, it would ask the user to select subscription data with date picker element. The selected date would be the subscription

start date for particular plan.

Once the customer has decided to subscribe for particular plan, he or she can buy the membership plan. Customer would be redirected to a separate checkout page for subscription same as shown in the below

screenshot,

Here, customer would be asked for payment details, customer can checkout with Authorize.net or

PayPal Express Checkout payment gateways. Once the customer completes the payment procedure, the

subscription profile will be created with particular payment gateways. Based on that profile, the rest of

the payment occurrence would be captured and customer will informed via email for same. Customer

can also track his all subscription plan with my account area, Please check below screenshot:

Each subscription will show all the details about the subscription, subscription plan, payment information, and recurring payment occurred and all other required information. User can also cancel or

suspend the subscription, if the subscription is active. If subscription is suspended user can activate the

subscription plans. As shown in the screenshot below:
