As many of you know, The Nido Collection’s Spitalfields, King’s Cross and Notting Hill buildings were recently purchased by Greystar’s student housing brand, PRODIGY Living.

Our In-house teams have transferred too to make sure you recognise a friendly face. They can assist you personally at the front desk and should you need further information on our buildings, head to www.prodigy-living.co.uk and under the “Cities” tab, click “London.” By clicking on the desired location, you will find further information on each of our great properties. We’re working hard to upgrade our facilities in the coming months and rest assured that we will continue to offer our social and learning events too.

We’ve had some exciting events take place over the last month in our buildings. Our Art Therapy Workshops have been helpful during the exam period and many of our residents began enjoying the sunshine by spending time on our 33rd floor at Spitalfields House balcony. Some of our entrepreneurial residents have launched a new brand, MyBrand London, in our Spitalfields House Auditorium and there are always many creative meetings taking place in our spaces. FUTURE TECH TRACK - MAY 20THAn insightful and inspiring event, the first of our TED talk-style series, Future Tech Track, was a great success. The innovators taught us a lot about incorporating tech into our everyday lives and residents had the chance to network with influential leaders and entrepreneurs in the tech industry.

FASHION SHOW - MAY 22NDA fantastic turnout on our first fashion event in collaboration with University of the Arts London students, which featured 6 brilliant designers for both male and fe-male fashion. London College of Fashion’s postgraduate students and our team set the benchmark high for future fashion events. Stay tuned, many more to come!

Join us at our 8 session workshop series every Monday in The Dining Room to get to know yourself better, develop your personality and relax your mind.

Be it football, cricket, tennis or formula one, you can rest assured it will be screened for free and live at King’s Cross. Grab your friends and come cheer on your favourite teams!

|SWEDISH FIT- Sundays @ 6pm, Fitness Centre -

THE PARTY OF THE YEARGREAT GATSBY THEMED SUMMER PARTY- June 5th @ 4pm, three amzing venues: Spitalfields|Boat|Mayfair -

Inspired by Long Island’s Great Gatsby party, join our three-part end of term and beginning of summer celebration with free cocktails. We will begin the evening with a pre-drink at our beach-transformed Spitalfields courtyard, followed by a boat party on the riverside and we will finish the evening off at a trendy Mayfair club.

Only a 15 minute walk from both our King’s Cross and Spitalfields Houses, this is a great happy hour spot. They also hold awesome cinema rooftop events, so be sure to stay updated for screening information!

9. COQ D’ARGENT - Bank -

A favourite among locals, this roof terrace marked by its green grass and extensive cocktails list is one-of-a-kind. If you’re a fan of french cuisine

and fancy a weekend brunch, check out their Saturday Brunch!

8. SKY GARDEN - Fenchurch Street -

Located on the 35th and 36th floors of the Walkie Talkie building, this glass-clad and greenery-filled roof terrace is sure to impress. Take a 10 minute walk from our Spitalfields House and check out Sky Garden’s open and vibrant outdoor area any day from 11am-6pm. If you fancy live music, be sure to check out their “Sky High Sessions.”

7. ON THE ROOF WITH Q- Oxford Street -

Located on Selfridges rooftop, On The Roof with Q offers a superb summer drinking and dining experience. If you’re spending your summer in London, it is definitely worth checking out as it’s only opened 18 weeks out of the year.

6. HUTONG, THE SHARD- Hutong -

Hutong, Chinese cuisine at the top of The Shard, is truly unique, sighting some of the best views of London’s Thames and bridges. The 72 story-high building won 2013’s Skyscraper Award, so it’s definitely worth experiencing once in your life while living in London.
