C.B.I INFORMATION MRS. MARLENE´S INTERVIEW

Q: Can you tell us more about him?

A: He wanted to be independent, he worked at different schools at first but he

didn´t feel right as a teacher, so he decided to be a school administrator. Be-

ing the school administrator gave him the idea to buy the school.

Q: Tell us more about his experience at the school.

A: The school was created 37 years ago, but when Mr. Mario took control of

the school it has been 17 years. He closed the school for a year and about pre-

cisely 9 years ago he reopened the school.

Q: What about his biography? What can you tell us?

A: He was born on March 14 of 1965. He was born in venecia, it’s not such a

wealthy neighborhood but he grew up in a happy family. He would go to the

park and play a lot of soccer, he was adventurous.

Q: In his adulthood, what did he do?

A: well, he went to Ecuador, he liked hiking a lot. He wanted to be a doctor,

but he didn’t pass the Nacional´s exam so he then decided to study biology.

He went hitchhiking plenty times. He was the type of person that loved his

family a lot. He also joined the Red Cross and helped save those who got lost.

Q: How was his relationship with the school?

A: Like some of the teacher that have started here, he didn’t know much

English but he picked quickly.

The students loved him and he was an excellent teacher and boss. He had

students from high school; up to eight grades. Then sadly he died.

He was thought as a second father.

MR. JUAN CARLOS´S INTERVIEW

Q: How long have you been working at this school?

A: Six years

Q: How has your experience been?

A: For two years i was the homeroom teacher of sixth; two years and half as

the disciplinary coordinator of highschool and one year and half as the

school´s principal.

Q: Why did you decide to work here?

A: I took the decision becquse it´s closer to my house than the other job i

worked at and working here feels house-warming. I als save a lot of time.

Q: Which was your first group?

A: Forth was a wonderful experience and a hard one two but as time passed by

it got better.

Q: What about your second group?

A: Sixth was a wonderful group also. Their a very critiseful group; their the

kids thats are now in tenth grade.

Q: W hat did you do as the school´s coordinator?

A: well to start it´s a very demeaningful job, the hardest part was when I had

to punish, i´m not like that.

Q: Why did you sing the black vampire?

A: (laughs) when i was presenting my exercises an elderly teacher taught it to

me, he used to sing it to his students.

I also got it from a song sanged in the army, i changed it aviously.

Q: What did you do in the voctional of medidtation?

A: We learned a lot. I used a special phrase ,live life. We´d eat, walk, feel and

just sleep.

Q: Hobby?

A: Acting and dance, I´ve always wanted to be an actor.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I´m from Valle, I´m a Vallano.

Q: Out of everything you´ve done in life, what would you like to do again?

A: A teacher.

Q: Any peronal saying?

A: If what you have to say isn´t more beuteful than silence, "SHUT UP"
