entrepreneur ial spi r i t , Don put his job secur i ty and personal savings on the l ine when he purchased

machinery to produce aluminum roof ing shingles. The shingles had been around for several decades,

but did not f i t in the or iginal owner’s v is ion. Don saw an opportunity and Class ic was born. Class ic

found i ts n iche quickly by roof ing nearly every Pizza Hut® and Dairy Queen® bui l t in the ear ly 80’s. Soon

though, i t became apparent to Don’s son, Todd, that commercial work was temporary, and that they

had more to offer homeowners. With a vis ion of his own, Todd ventured to break into the res ident ial

roof ing market. Combing the country, Todd began bui lding his v is ion to put a l i fet ime American-made

roof on every home in America. Nearly 30 years later, 99% of Class ic’s business i s to homeowners and
