You don't normally need to worry about turning oor removing any font that came with Mac OS X 10.3. In fact, Geneva.dfont, Keyboard.dfont, LastResort.dfont, and Lucida Grande.dfont —required by the system—cannot be disabled with Font Book. Other fonts that can be disabled may be required by specific applications. For example, Terminal needs Monaco, and Address Book requires Helvetica to work correctly. Mac OS X 10.3: Fonts listIn Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, Fonts installed by the Mac OS X installer are saved in these two folders: /Library/Fonts and /System/Library/Fonts

To turn a font on or off, use Font Book. You don't normally need to worry about turning off or removing any font that came with Mac OS X 10.3.
