Maha Barathi Engneering college runs under the Maha Barathi Educational Trust which was founded in the year 2007. The college is strategically located in 16 acres campus with a built up area of over 17,500 square meters for academic and over 3800 square meters for amenities and hostel. The management believes in investing in the sound infrastructure and quality facilities to create and facilitate the perfect learning environment.

The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. LIBRARY

The library provides a peaceful atmosphere to update the knowledge of the both students and the faculty members. The library is fully computerized, automated, well furnished and spacious reading halls with more than 23,120 volumes of books, 100 National, International journals and periodicals. The library is using OPAC (Online Pubic Access Catalogue), the users can search the library online catalogue by Author’s name, title, subject and keywords available on the campus LAN. The library has the on-line access facility, audio, video facilities, CD ROM’s and Reprographic facilities.
