M/A-COMTech’s MAFR-000493-000001*, forinstance, is designed to operate in the L-band.It has a typical insertion loss of just 0.16dBat 1030MHz. And ourMAFR-000403 S-Bandcirculator, optimized from 2.7GHz to 3.1GHz,has a typical insertion loss of only 0.25dB.These are only a couple of examples of ourmany product offerings.

M/A-COMTech achieves best-in-classperformance through a systematic approach,which includes Six Sigma tools andmethod-ologies. This ensures quality and reliabilityfrom product development through volumeproduction.

In the beginning, we focused oncustom products for military applications.This knowledge led to innovative, low-cost,technical leadership in the commercialwirelessmarkets. Our company now offerstechnical leadership and cost-competitiveproducts for radar applications in bothmilitary and commercial markets.

M/A-COMTech’s ferrite circulators haveindustry-leading insertion loss performance.Insertion loss is a critical parameter in radardesign. For a 100W tone, every 0.1dB of lossthru the circulator results in 2.3W of losttransmit power. M/A-COMTech circulators,using an optimized design approach, have atypical insertion loss of < 0.25db.
