2014 has been a great year at Mahvrick. We have explored many ideas and taken several of our own to market. M12 Magazine has given us a platform to speak to over 50,000 people on a daily basis. Fanatic Farm TV started as a BETA for other clients and since then has grown to 100-300 subscribers daily. At Mahvrick we like taking ideas to reality. Our ideas our clients ideas. We consider some of these ideas dreams. It is okay to dream, but we figure out ways to make dreams reality. Often we will tell our clients and partners “No!”, but if we see developments and maturity in an opportunity that “No!” becomes a “Lets do it!”. Many people do not understand this. We try to defy gravity. If you watch our social media and our blog posts many of the things that we do are extraordinary.

We want our shared dreams to become the foundation for more dreams that our community of subscribers can share in. From events and articles to art that we have commissioned that is now in galleries. 2015 is focused on Art and Fashion. Cant Wait.

Most Beautiful List (owned by Mahvrick) named Kendall Jenner the Most Beautiful Woman in the World. “Mahvrick monitors the careers of athletes, musicians, actresses, models, and philanthropists specifically for Most Beautiful List. We nominate five hundred women and select one hundred for Most Beautiful in the World every which is announced on January 1. This year our committee has selected Kendall Jenner as the Most Beautiful Woman in the world," says Richard Mahee, Mahvrick, Most Beautiful List.

Over the years Mahvrick has followed the media's curiosity into the lives of Kris Jenner and the Kardashian girls. Kendall has started her career under the shadow of her step sister Kim, but has flourished in areas from fashion week to co-starring on episodes of the family’s TV shows on E!. Music and fashion have always been intimate bedfellows, but neither world has ever heard or seen an artist and presence quite like Don

Benjamin.

A notable model whose CREDITS include serving as the face for Guess, Moods of Norway, Tilly's, and Pink Dolphin campaigns and

finalist on the 2013 season of America's Next Top Model, he grabs the mic and holds tight on his forthcoming debut album. The rapper

ignites slick, smart verses via an impressive flow, relaying personal stories with palpable panache. It’s been resonating too. His track

"Across the Sky" [featuring Nikki Flores] saw placements on Big Brother, America's Next Top Model, and various MTV PROGRAMS. It

also landed in the iTunes Overall Top Songs chart, officially announcing his arrival as an artist.

"It's smooth rap," he declares. "I spit bars with an R&B feel. I didn’t want to do something typical. This isn’t your average hip-hop. It’s not

about killing people or selling drugs. It’s about girls and relationships. I was always focused on finding love and everything that goes along

with that. I’m telling my story honestly.”

His story thus far remains quite remarkable. Born in a rough neighborhood of Chicago's notorious South Side, he and his mother bounced

around from Minneapolis to Mississippi and Florida. He finished up high school in Minnesota, and that's also where he truly discovered his

passion. Fascinated by everyone from Jay-Z and Nas to LL Cool J, Boyz II Men, and Jagged Edge, he started rapping in between his

duties as varsity basketball team captain.

"The first time I recorded a song with some friends, I knew I had to be in music," he explains. "It felt like what I was always meant to do."

In 2005, he moved out to Los Angeles and immersed himself in the scene. Eventually, he'd gain notoriety modeling, but he parlayed his

music to the forefront. Musically, he captures a bedroom-ready R&B vibe within the framework of hip-hop. You can hear it within the likes

of “Doin’ It Well”.

Produced by Midi Mafia [50 Cent, Frank Ocean], it highlights a cool and controlled flow from Don before taking flight on an Elijah Blake

hook. Re-imagining LL Cool J's "Doin' It", the song encapsulates a deeper message for the artist as well.

"Everybody's disrespecting women, downgrading them, calling them bitches, and just talking about fucking," he goes on. "There's no real

story, and nobody is building girls up. I wanted to do that. This says, 'I want to see where your mind is at rather than getting in BED with

you right away'. You can be in a relationship and evolve into that sexual point. I got into the storytelling of meeting a girl, getting to know

her, and watching her leave the dude that's not treating her right."

Meanwhile, "Jealous" [featuring Eric Bellinger] tells a different tale altogether, showcasing his diversity as do many other tracks. He says,

"It's about a dude who gives his girl all the time he can, but she's still jealous. Eric wanted me to do a photo shoot for his street wear line. I

told him I'd do it, and I also told him about the track because I thought he'd be perfect on the hook. It perfectly fell into place."

In the end, Don gives something much more to listeners everywhere with his candid lyrics and different perspective. "The most important

thing is for people to connect with the music and feel it," he concludes. "I want them to see what's happening in my lyrics and relate."

I sat with William Benson the CEO of Billionaires Publishing and discussed J.Bape’s style and attitude towards art, culture, music. I immediately told William to sign BAPE to an A/R deal, which lead to the negotiations with PLAY a Grammy Nominated writer who has worked with Luda, Kelly Rowland and has numerous radio hits.

J. Bape is in the studio, but Billionaires Row Publishing is planning to set up studio time with other well known producers so both Play and Bape can get their labels organized and funded in the first quarter of 2015.

Reborn from the ashes of two of New Jersey’s most promising bands, 18th & Addison are a culmination of a diverse set of musical ideas ranging from indie pop, punk, and melodic rock. From Toms River, NJ, 18th & Addison formed in November of 2013 as an acoustic duo featuring Tom Kunzman and Kait DiBenedetto. OMT (formerly known as One More Time) is Mike Aquino, Dick Kuhn & Dave Benziger on guitar and vocals, Jason Trtan on bass, and Bobby Carroll on drums and vocals. Throughout their careers they each are accomplished in their own right, having had such opportunities to work and perform with musicians such as Dave Bickler & Jim Peterik (Survivor - Eye of the Tiger), & Brian Wilson (Beach Boys). When they meet together on the stage, they make magic combining the sounds of their instruments and their 5 part harmonizations. Other accomplishments as of recent include actually bringing together each member of PIENTERTAINMENTLLC as the story goes I Met Jemaine Archie at a former job one day and discussed the ideas of a T-shirt company called POLITIKLEE INKAWRECT, which seemed fitting since Mr Archie owns and operates a successful graphic design company. Big 6 knew Charles Kidd Aka Knowin about 5 years prior to that. Charles Kidd as well as Larry Williams have been owning and running a 501(c3) Non-profit organization to mentor teens in crisis. So between a T-shirt company and a Non-profit organization it made sense to combine the ideas for an Entertainment aid agency the first ever EAA. The rest is history in the making as sheer talent alone has garnered the attention of Richard Mahee of Mahvrick, Geraldo Nazario Aka Big 6 was able to connect the two brands. According to auction house Fellow Auctioneers, this rare piece has been donated to the UK-based Cancer Research Leukemia division by a London based vendor. As per media sources, the design of this unique tiara has been hugely inspired from the quintessential garland style. Reportedly this grand piece contains an estimated 10.00 carats of old cut diamonds. However it was reported that this stunning tiara would initially fetch around $8, 000 to $11, 000 in an auction. School Buzz: Erika Benton-Martin

One spark that may ignite a fire. Life should always to be cherished. Some of us are elders that can pass on the wisdom, and some of us are young, learning to embrace the past to make a change, but our lives do not have a finish line. Every single day is a new beginning and as you wake up, the first step you take out of bed is progress of your progression. There are so many things that we all can do to make the world a better place, however the first thing that we have to do is to do it. Erika Benton-Martin is from San Francisco, California and is a recent graduate of Clark Atlanta University. “At the age of 17, I ventured off on my own, moved to Atlanta and four years later became the first person in my family to graduate from a university,” said Ericka. She has implemented journalism with music by working as a freelance music journalist. She loves multiple genres, listens multiple songs, and writes a story about how the songs or albums make her feel. All of this was an outcome of Erika’s work ethic, as well as staying kind and humble that allowed her to be able to visualize what it is that she would love to do within her lifetime.

Educating others with the education she has received, because intelligence is beautiful, as long as you are feeding the mind. “I have been blessed with many positive role models and I hope that one day someone will say the same about me. Since relocating to the California Bay Area, I've decided that I would like to dedicate some of my time to mentoring students interested in working in media. My goal with these students is to motivate, inspire and encourage them to go after and conquer whatever goal or dream they may have,” said Erika.

“My hope is to spark the mind of someone who will make a positive change in the world,” said Erika. It only takes one spark that may ignite a fire and that fire will grow and from that flame it can spread in order to attract others to make a positive change. By doing so, it can help the community, the country, and possibly the world. The result of that will be enriching life.
