The Musical Theatre Program at St. Patrick Elementary School is anextra-curricular program which takes place after school. Interested students inGrades 3 through 6 join through an audition process, and rehearse from thefall to the spring several times a week. This program gives students a chance toexperience the world of theatre and learn skills that help them develop inmany ways. Participants contribute to the production both onstage and off.Shows performed in the program are from MTI’s Broadway Junior Collection,Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Getting to Know Collection, and ConcordTheatrical’s Young Performers Collection.The program began at St. Pat’s in 2007 with Annie Jr. Since then, other titlesperformed include Seussical Jr., Aladdin Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr.,The Music Man Jr., Getting to Know… Once Upon A Mattress, among others.
