What in the world happened to January? Kind of got away from me but I enjoyed it. I actually finished a few projects started

long ago, got my mending pile down quite a bit and did a few jigsaw puzzles. Don’t ask about the ironing! The Mountain Quilt Quest Shop Hop is well into the planning stages. The dates for this year are June 8, 9, 10, and 11. We will again have a bus leaving from Morgantown on the 10th and returning on the 11th. Call us for details and to make your reservation. Our fabric this year is an original design I think you will really like. I can’t give you too much information this far in advance but we can sneak out a few clues about it as the date approaches. We also have all new charms this year. We are starting the class schedule a bit later this year so we hopefully won’t have to reschedule as many classes due to weather. Who knows – there is always that Easter snow!! I hope you’ll be able to come to our 38th Anniversary Sale beginning Saturday February 26th. I know I say this to you all the time but without your continued loyalty and support we are nothing. You are a devoted customer base that I am privileged to serve. In short, you are the BEST and I thank you every day!!

Class Registration

Registration for classes will be taken in person or by mail ONLY. We cannot accept registration by phone. Class fees are payable at the time of registration and are not refundable unless class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. A 15% discount is offered for your class supplies and we thank you for purchasing them at The Sew Inn. Most class samples are or will soon be on display in the shop.

PLEASE NOTE: Copyright laws prohibit the copying and sharing of patterns and designs. Please help us to respect these laws and honor the work of the artists and designers. We cannot provide copies of copyrighted patterns for class. You may purchase the books or patterns at a 15% discount or make your own notes and sketches in class.

Suggested level of class:

* Easy or beginner—only basic sewing skills needed

** For students comfortable with rotary cutting, accurate

This “Appetizer” class will also whet your appetite for free-motion quilting by providing an introduction to some free-motion basics. EMBROIDERY CLUB—Denise Come and learn something new

while you have fun with your embroidery machine. We meet once a month to challenge your skills using all the features of your embroidery machine. We try to learn a new technique each month. These are fun easy projects and a great time to ask questions. There is a $5 fee per class. Be sure to bring your programmable card, disk, or memory stick to class.
