INTRODUCTION

This   applica;on   includes   all   MC   roles   separated   by   possible   corners   of   MC   team  structure.   In  this  applica;on  you  will  be  able  to  use  all  your  crea;vity  when  crea;ng  and  designing  it.  

JOB DESCRIPTION This   year  we   are   launching   applica;ons   to   be   a   part   of  MC   team   16.17  without   a  specific  structure.  It  will  be  defined  by  the  1st  of  July  2016.  Keep  in  mind  that  first  of  all  you  are  applying  for  the  MC  team  that  will  lead  AIESEC  in  Russia  in  the  next  year.  All  the  candidates  will  be  assessed  according  to  5  main  blocks: 1.  ORGANIZATIONAL  LONG  TERM  STRATEGY  &  GROWTH 2.  NETWORK  MANAGEMENT  AND  IMPLEMENTATION  STRATEGY 3.  ORGANIZATIONAL  HEALTH  AND  SUSTAINABILITY 4.  STRATEGIC  PARTNERSHIPS  AND  PARTNERS  MANAGEMENT 5.  ORGANIZATIONAL  BRAND  AND  POSITIONING

THE APPLICATION PROCESS:

1 Bio:   Create  your   own  biography   and   share   it  with   us.  You  have  just  one  limita;on,  one  page!  For  examples  on  how   a   bio   can   be   structured,   please   search   for   the  following  examples: David  Pollay,  CEO  of  The  Momentum  Project  and  Traci  Fenton,  CEO/cofounder  of  WorldBlu

CV:  Give  us  all  important  informa;on  we  need  to  know  about  you,  your  AIESEC  career,  other  jobs  you  have  had,  your  contact  details  etc.  You  can  use  a  maximum  of  one  (1)  page  to  create  your  CV.

3 Ques;onnaire:  These  ques;ons  must  be  answered  by  all  candidates  and  should  not  take  more  than  7  (Seven)  pages.

4 Blank  Paper  Challenge:  1  page  and  all  your  crea;vity  to   share   with   us   what   is   the   biggest   ques;on   that  AIESEC   has   today   and   give   us   an   answer   to   it,   make  sure  the  answer  disrupts  the  way  we  know  AIESEC.  You  can   change   the   system,   challenge   any   paradigms   and  unleash   the   poten;al   of   the   organiza;on.   The   page  should  be  included  in  the  Ques?onnaire  file.  

5 Endorsement  Leeers  (6  in  total) -­‐from  the  one  you  led  within  past  year -­‐from  the  one  who  was  leading  you -­‐from  the  team  mate -­‐from  any  foreign  En;ty  (LC  or  MC) -­‐Interna;onal   applicants   need   to   submit  endorsement  from  MC  of  the  current  En;ty.   Endorsement   leeers   should   have   the  signature   and   contact   informa;on   of   the  person  signing  it.

6 Interna;onal   applicants   should   also  submit   the   file   with   informa;on  describing   needed   legal   procedures   for  obtaining   visa   in   Russia,   challenges   and  possible  ways  to  overcome  them.

THE ELECTIONS AND SELECTION PROCESS:

MCP  elect  decides  on  the  final  structure  and  the  posi;ons  of  the  MC  team  16.17

The  MCP  elect  may  choose  the  order  of  interviews  and  the  ;ming  of  selec;on  for  the  different  posi;ons.  This  may  include  selec;ng  certain  posi;ons  before  others.

The  elec;ons  process  will  include  speeches  and  rounds  of  Ques;ons  and  Answers.

MC  team  candidates  are  elected  by  Full  Member  En;;es  of  AIESEC  in  Russia  at  the  Winter  Na;onal  Conference  in  Yekaterinburg  on  the  3rd  of  February.  Each  candidate  must  be  present  at  the  elec;ons  physically  or  virtually.

Once  the  confidence  vote  is  complete,  the  selec;on  panel  will  do  the  interviews  with  all  the  approved  by  the  plenary  candidates.  The  selec;on  panel  may  choose  to  add  addi;onal  steps  to  the  process,  such  as  func;onal  tasks  etc.  

Once  the  selec;on  is  complete  the  announcement  will  be  made  to  the  plenary.

All  the  MC  16.17  members  must  be  

physically  present  at  the  general  transi;on  which  starts  in  the  beginning  of  May.  Excep;ons  can  be  made  to  interna;onal  

members.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The  minimum  font  size  for  all  the  documents  is  10. SPECIFIC QUESTIONS:

Instruc?ons:   •  There  are  5  blocks  of  ques;ons  separated  in  the  roles  of  MC  team  •  Each  block  has  5  ques;ons,  in  which  the  candidate  will  choose  1  ques;on  per block  to  answer.  •  All  of  the  blocks  need  to  be  answered  by  1  ques;on,  and  the  candidate  must  choose  1  block  in which  he/she  must  answer  4  ques;ons.  •  In  total,  the  candidate  will  answer  8  ques;ons  in  the  Specific  Ques;onnaire  and  5 ques;ons  in  the  General  Ques;onnaire  for  a  total  of  13  ques;ons. *Remember  to  include  the  number  of  the  ques;on  you  are  answering  with  your  answers.

2. NETWORK MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY

a.  Assess  AIESEC  2015  implementa;on  during  5  years  of   it?  What  are  our  main  learnings  as  AIESEC  in  Russia  for  implementa;on  of  2020?  b.  What  is  the  most  effec;ve  way  to  implement  na;onal  strategies  in  the  na;onal  network  that  is  diverse  in  performance  and   reali;es?  Please  specify  how  could  AIESEC   in  Russian   increase   the  contribu;on  of  Tier  3,4  En;;es.  c.  Please  assess  the  MC’s  current  implementa;on  touch  points  and  give  a  perspec;ve  on  how  we  could  evolve  them  in  16.17?  d.   What   are   the   main   current   challenges   and   successes   to   have   a   fast   and   effec;ve   network  implementa;on?  How  do  you  see  this  evolving  in  16.17  term?  e.  What  are  the  main  changes  that  you  propose  for  the  management  of  the  network  of  AIESEC  in  Russia?  What  would  be  the  role  of  OD  model  in  it?

3. ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH AND SUSTAINABILITY

a.  What  does  it  mean  for  you  to  have  all  the  LCs  sustainable?  Based  on  your  answer,  assess  overall  AIESEC  in  Russia  sustainability  currently?  Why  do  you  think  that  it  is  this  way?  b.  What  would  be  the  key  indicators  you  would  measure  for  an  overall  organiza;onal  health  model?  How  would  you  collect  data?  c.  What  are  the  current  biggest  issues  that  LCs  face  towards  being  sustainable?    d.  What  are  the  biggest  challenges  in  finance  and  legali;es  in  the  term  15.16?  How  are  you  planning  to  overcome  them  in  16.17?  e.  What  are  the  main  risks  and  poten;al  crisis  that  might  affect  AIESEC  in  Russia  in  the  near  future?  How  would  you  avoid/minimize  the  impact  of  them  on  the  organiza;on?

4. STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND PARTNERS MANAGEMENT

a.   Imagine   in   2016-­‐17   you   have   the   opportunity   to   develop   a   new   strategy   to   engage   and   develop  strategic  partnerships.  How  would  your  strategy  look  like  to  achieve  short-­‐term  budget  goals  (2016-­‐17)?  b.  How  AIESEC  in  Russia  as  a  whole  organiza;on  have  to  evolve   in  order  to  develop  more  partnerships  needed  to  sustain  the  organiza;on?  c.  How  do  you   see   the   synergy  of  MC  and   LCs   to  work  on   the   strategic   partnerships   together?  What  would  be  the  role  of  external  rela;ons  on  LC  level?  d.  If  you  could  keep  only  one  current  BD  account  of  MC,  which  one  would  it  be  and  why?  e.  Besides   the  current  product  por3olio,  what  addi;onal  products  would  you   implement   to  engage  our  partners  in  a  more  strategic  and  impac3ul  way?  State  at  least  3.

5. ORGANIZATIONAL BRAND AND POSITIONING

a.  According  to  you,  what  stories  does  our  brand  tell  and  what  stories  should  it  tell?    b.  How  should  AIESEC  evolve  its  posi;oning  in  2016-­‐17  to  benefit  from  external  trends?  c.  What   is   the   poten;al   of   digitaliza;on   (and   digital  marke;ng)   in  AIESEC?  Make   external   examples   to  emphasize  your  point  if  needed.  d.  What  is  the  role  of  Youth  Speak  in  AIESEC  now?  What  poten;al  do  you  see  in  Youth  Speak  Strategy  for  AIESEC  in  Russia?  How  the  project  can  evolve  in  the  16.17  term?  e.  What  should  be  the  role  of  Marke;ng  at  each  stage  of  customer  flow?  Considering  that,  how  should  the  role  of  Marke;ng  evolve  on  the  local  level  next  term?
