1999- present: Principal Investigator on grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health on continuity and

change in antisocial behavior from the preschool period to middle childhood.

1997-1998: Principal Investigator on Royalty Research Grant to study parenting and family processes associated with adolescent depression. 1994-1997: Principal Investigator on grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health on antisocial behavior in preschool-aged children. This project is a 3-year study of marital distress and violence, poor parenting, and emotion dysregulation in families with antisocial children. 1983-1998: Co-investigator on a series of six major studies over a 15 year period funded by the National Institute of Mental Health of the effects of marital conflict on children’s emotional development, behavior problems, and peer relations.
