SECOND REGISTRATION DATE WILL TAKE PLACE ON 

WEDNESDAY APRIL 14, 2010 FROM 6:30 PM TO 8:30 PM. ALL 

REGISTRATION SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE PARKS 

DEPARTMENT OFFICES ADJACENT TO THE SENIOR CITIZENS 

CENTER ON CLEVELAND AVENUE. 

PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE FORM OF CASH, CHECKS, 

AND MASTERCARD OR VISA 

Lyndhurst Community PooL news and notesThe Lyndhurst community pool opens its doors this April, and is set to serve Lyndhurst Township

and our swim groups. The pool will host a variety of classes, competitions, instructional lessons,

and leisurely open swims. We hope you will enjoy one of our many offerings here at the Pool.

We are working hard to install “something for everyone”; whether it is a particular swim or

aquasize class or a swim clinic with our excellent Lyndhurst High Coaches. In this informational

booklet you will find pool hours and availability as well as other important information such

as policies, fees, and class offerings. An open house for all residents will be held on April 3rd,

noon through 3pm, at the pool. This is a great opportunity for residents to come and see our

wonderful facility and get membership information. Please feel free to e-mail your questions

Private Parties/Groups: The pool will be available to rent for private functions. You must pay a facility rental fee plus a fee for having the required lifeguard on duty for your event. Contact the pool office for details on private events.

Annual Membership Fees Options:

*All memberships require 2 proofs of Lyndhurst residency in the form of drivers license/photo i.d. and utility or tax bill.*

Some of the classes we will be offering throughout the year will include, but not be limited to, Aquasize, water aerobics, water weight training, mommy and me, swim clinics, and swim lessons by age group and skill levels.

Facilities: We have beautiful and convenient facilities here at the pool. Locker rooms fully equipped with showers and lockers are provided (must bring own lock). We are ADA compliant, if you have specific needs we are more than happy to assist you.

Pool Policies:

All posted pool policies are expected to be followed. They are in place for your safety and the safety of fellow members. Lifeguards are at the pool to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable swim; all members are expected to adhere to lifeguard instructions; they are also here to help you should you have any questions/concerns ask our lifeguards.

Pool Hours:

The pool will be open to Lyndhurst Community Pool members for open swims starting in mid April.

Monday through Thursday 6 pm-9 pm and - Saturday 12:00 pm-3:00 pm

Our classes, group activities, and camps will be scheduled throughout the day around the open swim schedule.

Pool hours and classes will change season to season, so be sure to keep up with our schedule, which will be posted at the pool and online at Lyndhurstnj.org.
