LVTs unique technologies are designed to quickly identi y and
suppress res. The uniqueDELTA linear detector analyzes rate o
temperature rise within the monitored region tocon rm the presence
o a re or overheating. Once a re has been detected, thehigh-per
ormance command and control unit activates the re suppression
system.LVT utilizes a wide variety o re suppression agents tailored
to speci c applications. Itsinnovative N2 Generator, a
nitrogen-based re suppression system, can be sa ely utilizedin con
ned areas or crew compartments to suppress res without harming the
crew orthe environment. The ully automatic systems can also be
manually activated by the crew.
