been independently tested to comply with the FloorScore® IAQ program.

FloorScore® was developed by the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) together

with Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to test and certify flooring products

for compliance with indoor air quality emission requirements of the California

Section 01350 standard. This certification means that when choosing EarthWerks

floors for your home or office, you’ll be promoting good indoor air quality at the

same time. Go ahead, breathe easy.

All LVT products are made with layers of PVC, finished with a final layer called the wear layer (w/l). The

thickness of the wear layer helps to determine the length of each product’s warranty. All EarthWerks® LVT

products have a high quality wear layer, ensuring that your floor will last.

Over the years, we have developed several urethane coatings that can be applied over the wear layer.

These liquid coatings, rolled on and hardened with an ultraviolet light create a protective barrier for your

LVT. These coatings enhance the overall life of the wear layer and increase the product’s ability to resist

everyday scuffs and scratches.

As an added benefit, many of our EarthWerks® LVT products are

made with our Tuff-est coating ever – Tuff Shield™, a double-

coating method that adds extra strength to our urethane

protectant. Tuff Shield™ improves our urethane coating with the addition of aluminum oxide powder. The

Aluminum Oxide crystals are suspended in the urethane that is applied to the LVT providing additional

resistance to normal wear, giving you one of the best finishes in the industry.

Immediately clean up all spills with a damp rag.

Sweep or vacuum floor regularly to remove all soil, grit, and sand. Do not use a vacuum with a beater brush.

Damp mop regularly with warm water and vinyl floor cleaner. Do not use soap based detergents or abrasive cleaners.

To avoid possible permanent indentation or damage, proper floor protection devices must be used under furniture and appliances.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The manufacturer will repair or furnish replacement materials if there is a manufacturing defect for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

The manufacturer will furnish replacement flooring materials if there is an excessive loss of pattern or color. The following conditions will apply:

• Under normal residential and/or commercial use, depending on product

• The problem occurs within the number of years specified for each product.

• All installation and maintenance instructions have been followed.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
