EL TRANSCANTABRICO GRAN LUJO

“Come and join us in the North, the greenest part of Spain, for eight days of sheer joy aboard El Transcantabrico Gran Lujo.”

On board El Transcantabrico Gran Lujo you will be seduced by every moment: from the original 1923 Pullman coaches, to the rich diversity of the northern landscapes, that appear outside your window like a sequence of splendid postcards pictures, each as stunning as the next.

Fine dining, beautiful landscapes, Spanish culture, glamour, entertainment and relaxation come together

to make this journey a unique and unforgettable experience.

The social carriages, are real gems of railway heritage, built in the early 1920’s, the elegant interior decore recalls those days. These carriages are a luxurious space to enjoy a splendid meal, a relaxing drink or an evening of entertainment and a chat with fellow travellers. The panoramic carriage, with its large windows, will reveal sights of overwhelming beauty each day.

EL EXPRESO DE LA ROBLA

“El Expreso de La Robla. A nature and culture holiday on the Camino de Santiago.”

LA ROBLA ROUTE

El Expreso de La Robla was born with the idea of offering all the charm and comfort of classic rail travel at affordable prices. The common areas of El Expreso de La Robla consist of by three comfortable air-conditioned lounge carriages offering a permanent bar service. The route offers a unique combination of history and nature that follows the traces of the legendary train, which since the late 19th century transported coal from León and Palencia coalfields to the thriving Basque industry.

Three days and two nights, from Bilbao to Leon (or vice versa), to discover the stunning scenery of the Mena valley, the origins of Castile in the Merindades (in the province of Burgos), Palencia jewels of Romanesque art, the Roman mosaics of the villa Olmeda, or the great and natural dome of the cave in Valporquero. Every morning enjoy an exquisite buffet breakfast, and a choice of newspapers, magazines, a library, films and a TV. These lounges are flexible and can be used for conferences, talks, courses and meetings, with all the required technology. All carriages are connected internally, thereby allowing free movement of passengers throughout its length.
