Why VFD cable? LUTZE DRIVEFLEX® cables are safer and more efficient compared with traditional PVC/Nylon power tray cables or THHN wires in conduit. DRIVEFLEX® XLPE insulation has very low capacitance, high impedance and high voltage breakthrough resistance. XLPE insulation is the superior choice for VFD applications with pulse width modulation (PWM) to cope with high voltage spikes and power distortions from the VFD output. Shielded VFD cables can help to mitigate electrical noise, thus decreasing shaft voltage and motor bearing failures.
