Asian and Pacific Islander (API) Scholarships
1. APIASF Scholarship Fund:
The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) is the nation’s largest non-profit provider of college scholarships for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI). Since 2003, APIASF has distributed nearly $90 million in scholarships to AAPI students across the country and in the Pacific Islands.
2. APIASF AANAPISI Scholarship: The APIASF AANAPISI (Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) Scholarship supports full-time Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students at specified institutions.
3. U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce: The U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) offers scholarships for high school seniors nationwide for their post-secondary education.
4. George Choy Memorial / Gay Asian Pacific Alliance Scholarship: The purpose of the George Choy Memorial / Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (l/g/b/t) Asian and Pacific Islanders (API) who are in the process of applying to, or are currently attending, a post-secondary institution. The maximum grant award is currently $1,000.
API Scholarships
1. Organization of Chinese Americans: For over ten years, OCA has provided assistance to deserving APA students to achieve the ultimate dream of a college education. These scholarships are available to APA high school seniors entering their first year of college during the school year.
2. Japanese American Citizens League: The Japanese American Citizens League currently offers over 30 awards, with an annual total of over $60,000 in scholarships to qualified students nationwide. The National Scholarship and Awards Program offers scholarships to entering freshman, undergraduate, graduate, law, and creative and performing arts students, as well as those in need of financial aid.
3. The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) This foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-managed organization established to provide scholarships to the Korean American students, and encourage community and civic service as an integral part of leadership development.
4. Fulbright Scholarships for Pacific Island students: The Fulbright Scholarship is offered to citizens of the following eligible Pacific Island nations: Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master’s degree or Ph.D. study at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions.
API Scholarships
Scholarships for students from South Asia 1. South Asian Journalists Association:
The South Asian Journalists Association and SAJA Group Inc. award five scholarships for South Asian students pursuing a career in journalism.
2. Upakar Indian-American Scholarship Foundation: Upakar helps Indian-American students realize their educational goals by providing annual scholarships that acknowledge academic excellence and consider financial need. The scholarship provides $8,000 over four years for each recipient.
Scholarships Targeted to students from Southeast Asia 1. Hmong National Development, Inc.: Hmong National Development, Inc. offers one-time

3. Fill in every space. If a question does not apply to you write “Not Applicable"� or “n/a".
4. Decide whether you will be applying as a continuing or transferring student.
5. An ASIVC/ASG activity card must be purchased to be considered for the ASIVC scholarships. Cost is $10 at the Bursar’s Office.
