LUKE BRIGHT

Valé | Skate SpotsA self directed project that overlapped my time in Barcelona to coming back to Winchester. Being in the skate capital of Europe I decided to do a tourist guide,

directed at 18 - 30 year olds, to skateboarding spots, shops and nightlife. The idea was for it to be given out for free in local shops around the city.

Typography | Magazine Header

While studying at Elisava, Barcelona I was given a project to design custom headers for a magazine supplement. I chose to use two articles, one on Job Wouters and one on Roel Wouters. I created the headers with a mixture of hand drawing and illustrator vectors.

PDYE | London Exhibition

This is a poster I made to be sold at a London show, organised by Recuperate. The idea of it was to be very bold and ballsy.Like someone walking around with broad shoulders.

YEAH! It's Monday

This is for a night that a friend and I put on at out Student Union at Winchester School of Art. Above is showing the logo, launch poster, launch flyer, bar menu and a 12ft banner that would be behind the DJ's.

D&AD | The Partners

This was a D&AD competition brief that was to brand a concept of a touring art gallery within hospitals. The idea I had was to call it ‘love’, as it’s something you’re surrounded by and is already present in hospitals, also I’ve created an adaptable brand pattern that applies to the logo in the shape of a heart. I

wanted to create stationary that the patients can pick up from the gallery and use to create there own art.

LITRO - 108

LITRO is an existing free monthly magazine that publishes short stories. I've been asked to work with them designing their forthcoming issues. Here are some of the spreads for the first one I've done and is the July issue.

Manifesto

'Manifesto' was a University project where I had to create a set of posters that would represent the sort of person I am, both in personality and design. The final posters where screen printed at A2.

Maple Magazine

This is my Final Major Project from University. I had total creative freedom and could do whatever brief I gave myself. From it I decided to do a magazine that has ties to digital media to enhance the users experience and utilize qualities from both print and digital formats. I also made some t-shirts as part of the

brand image. Here is a selection of spreads from the mag.
