To avoid as much as possible the risk of accidents/ incidents during maritime transportation of chemicals on board ships, it is important to assess the ship and its crew

For assessment of the ship and its crew, all available information should be collected and considered

To have a succesful vetting scheme, a clear policy and support of the top management is needed
