What is Luas Cross City?

• Extension of the Green Line creating interchange with the Red Line on O’Connell St

• Continuing on to Broadstone and out to Broombridge, Cabra

• 13 new stops – 8 of which are city centre locations

• 5.6km with a journey time of 24mins from Broombridge to St. Stephen’s Green

• 10million additional journeys per year and interchange between bus, rail, Luas and taxi

• Up to 800 jobs during construction

• Introductory letter – Wk. beg. 2nd Dec. to

all work-front locations for January / February start dates

• Follow Up visit – Wk. beg. 9th/16th Dec. each business/retailer will be visited by members of the LCC project/contractor

• Weekly Stakeholder meetings – Dublin Bus, DCC, NTA, RPA, Contractor to prepare communication materials, bus route notices and information
