1 PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to describe the effects of activating the new FlexiMultiradio BTS LTE and LTE iOMS to operator networks.This document describes used configurations and analysis of KPIs, alarms and drivetests etc. which were executed during the pilots. The main idea of the pilot was tocompare new Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE and LTE iOMS SW performance against theold one Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE and LTE iOMS. This document should help theoperators when deciding the roll-out of the new SW into their networks.

2 PILOT SUMMARY

Introduction•  New Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW (LN4.0_ENB_1202_900_75) and LTE iOMS

SW (R_GOMS6_1.82.1.0 + all Corrs up to Corr50 ) were piloted in one Customer

KPIs

•  KPIs remained at the same level as during baseline period with new FlexiMultiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMS SW

 Alarms

•  No other unexpected alarms were seen after new Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SWand LTE iOMS SW activation

Features

•  No new features were tested during pilot

Performance/functionality

•  The result of the pilot shows good performance and functionality compared theprevious Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMS SW release

Conclusion

•  NSN recommends new Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMS SW to beused in live Customer networks

•  Possible restrictions: None

3 CUSTOMER PILOT WITH FLEXI MULTIRADIO BTS LTE AND LTE IOMS SW 

Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMS SW were piloted with one Customer.The verification was done by comparing baseline measurements (KPI data and alarmhistory) taken from the live network with Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMSSW against piloted Flexi Multiradio BTS LTE SW and LTE iOMS SW.The pilot was completed on 18.12.2013.
