    Section 1: LTE Architecture (1.5 hours)E-UTRAN Architecture:

    EPC Architecture:

    - MME, S-GW and PDN-GW.

    LTE Interfaces and Protocols:

    - Uu, X2, S1-MME, S1-U, S5/S8, S11 and SGi.

    PCC Architecture:

    - PCRF and PCEF.

    IMS Architecture:

    - CSCF, HSS and Media Servers.

    Section 2: LTE Air Interface (1.5 hours)Frequency Bands.Modulation Techniques and Coding:

  • - QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM Basics.

    OFDMA Basics.LTE Frame Structure:

    - LTE Resource Allocation.

    Additional copy if needed.

    Section 3: LTE Initial Procedures (3 hours)LTE Mobility and Session Management:

    - ECM Connected and ECM Idle.

    - EPS Bearer Contexts.

    LTE Identities.Radio Resource Control:

    - Cell Selection, PLMN Selection and Cell Re-selection.

    - RRC establishment.

    Initial Attach:
