LotusTech was born from the idea of bringing excellent Asian technologies to the Australasian scientific community. The name is derived from the lotus flower which is an extraordinary Asian plant, bringing both beauty and utility to the world. LotusTech provides Laboratory Furniture for Pharmaceutical, research, healthcare and educational sectors. We help our clients design, manufacture and install of laboratory furniture. Required distance for passage between laboratory tables:

When D>1200mm, workers can sit at one side and stand at the other side but find it hard to pass through in between;When D>1500mm, workers can sit at both sides and can pass through in between;When D>1800mm, workers can sit at both sides and can passthrough in between while holding pates;Conclusion: D should not be less than 1200mm

Required distance between Fume Hood and the bench:

In order not to produce cold current, distance between permicious gases removing cabinet and bench (D) shouldbe no less than 1800mm.

Indoor position of Fume Hood:

In order not to produce cold current, disstance between Fume Hood and the opposite bench should be no less than3000mm.Distance between Fume Hood and door (c) should be noless than 1000mm. Distance between the front of Fume Hood and wall column(d) should be no less than 1000mm.A and D are maintenance passage gap, leave 300mm widthif possible.

Required distance between instrument platform and wall:

For daily connection and maintenace, distance betweeninstrument platform and wall should be no less than 400mm.

Product Design Concepts

The height of table of standingwork is commonly 850~900mm.

Three people can work at the same time, andelbows can move freely, if people can be freemovement or passage, the distance should be750mm.

Three people same table at the same time,and the people sitting in the middle can passfreely, the distance should be at least 600mm.

The height of sitting-style table is commonly740~800mm. The height beneath table is no less than 600-mm and depth is about 200mm.

Our steel workbenches are manufactured in 1.2mm thick electrolytic steel plate, coated with Epoxy resin powder.
