towards creating the most sophisticated LS yet to satisfy the world’s most discerning customers.

LUXURY IN EVERY SINGLE DETAILForget all that you know about dashboards. The new LS features a human-oriented instrument panel that is designed with your comfort and utility in mind. The panel reflects this with a radical change to a more horizontally based layout that offers drivers a more comfortable, ergonomically ideal interaction with the vehicle’s Human Machine Interface (HMI) system.

Every aspect of the driving position has been carefully considered to create the ideal placement of controls, maximize comfort, and minimize driver distraction and fatigue. To make it easier for you to access the controls, the switches have also been combined and their number reduced, while the center cluster has been made more compact. Not only is the redesigned instrument panel comfortable for you during long drives, it also helps you focus your attention on the road, making sure you are safe and sound.


FULL CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

The dashboard is divided into two distinct zones. The first is an upper Display Zone, with an ultra-wide

12.3-inch LCD multi-display screen located at an ideal distance for at-a-glance viewing. The second is the lower

Operation Zone, which allows access to system controls such as the second-generation award-winning Remote

Touch Interface (RTI).

The RTI is a mouse-operated controller that lets you manage the car’s operations at your fingertips. This

technology makes it possible for you to intuitively control the on-screen buttons and pointer with your fingertips,

by providing feedback to your palm via a knob that creates the impression of operating buttons on the screen.

Ergonomically positioned on the centre console, the RTI system lets you easily access a wealth of information even

when driving at high speeds.


A NEW DIMENSION IN STYLE AND

COMFORT What other cars do well, the new Lexus LS does brilliantly.

And this is especially true when it comes to the quietness of the cabin. Comprehensive improvements have been

made to the sound insulation of the LS, allowing it to surpass the exemplary standards of cabin quietness that

have been established by other Lexus vehicles. Engine and road noise have been reduced through thicker insulation

adopted on the front wheel arch liners, while road noise is eliminated through floor silencers and insulation materials

under the rear seat. The wheels are of the noise-reducing type, preventing road friction from transforming into sound

energy, even when driving on uneven roads. The result is a luxurious environment that is quiet enough for normal

conversations even when the LS is moving at high speeds.


ANOTHER PERSONAL BEST

IN TOP-NOTCH COMFORT

The new LS is one of the most precise vehicles in the Lexus family, and with the comfort level to match.

The high body rigidity of the vehicle takes luxury up another notch. Not only is it fundamental to heightening

vehicle stability and handling agility, the LS’ high-rigidity body also plays a significant role in minimizing vibration

from the engine bay and road surface into the cabin. This design consideration brings about a noticeable

reduction in vibration, especially around the floor area at the driver’s seat, leading to marked improvements

in ride comfort.

As well, the front seats of the new LS have been improved with a new design that minimizes pressure

peaks, improves support and reduces fatigue even on the longest road trips. The 20mm increase in cushion

thickness of the seat base, together with a new Ottoman-style fold-out seat, also adds greater comfort by improving

pelvic support and maintaining ideal posture.

the possibilities. It also single-handedly pushes the boundaries of engineering to deliver cutting-edge

performance. This unparalleled sense of innovation has brought about a forward-thinking vehicle that

flaunts the most intuitive and innovative of technologies, evident in its ride comfort and improved driving dynamics.

Rigorously upgraded to combine refinement and high speed stability, the LS features improved body rigidity

and enhanced aerodynamics to deliver a smoother road-hugging ride while the new Drive Mode Selector system

lets you toggle between five driving modes to personalize and optimize your drive.

you drive a Lexus LS. Each successive generation of the LS has established a reputation for class-leading

aerodynamics. With a drag coefficient of just 0.26 in all configurations, the new LS stakes its claim as the

most aerodynamically efficient car in its league.

The first generation LS was the first vehicle in the premium automotive segment to adopt a multi-link

configuration to boost the front and rear air suspension system. With the new LS, this system has been refined

to offer a more comfortable ride while reducing roll angles and improving initial response to steering inputs.

The new LS is also the only car in its category to feature an electro-hydraulic braking system. This not

only contributes to a reduction in overall brake system weight, but also allows for more precise brake-force

distribution. This means that you will enjoy superior braking response and effectiveness.

LET INNOVATION TAKE THE WHEEL The birth of the LS stemmed from a vision of creating a new world standard for luxury vehicles, with performance that not only exceeded expectations but also captured the imagination and minds of users. The new LS is also equipped with the latest Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system, which seamlessly anticipates difficult driving situations, making torque and braking corrections intuitively when needed.

And unique to the LS 600h L, the full-hybrid drive train’s Driving Response and Acceleration Management System (DRAMS) also allows the VDIM to have unprecedented interaction with both engine and transmission, employing engine and electric motor output controls to deliver a faster and more precise response to situations.

wheels, 6-piston Brembo front brake calipers and the F SPORT emblem on the front fender add to

10mm, it is a driving experience that delivers on all fronts – head-turning looks, sporty design flair, and

Equipped with a torque-sensing, Torsen© Limited Slip Differential which optimally distributes torque between the rear wheels, the LS F SPORT enhances traction for faster acceleration. OBSESSIVE PURSUIT OF ULTIMATE SAFETY Passive safety functions help to protect you in the event of a crash. With two-stage Dual Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) front airbags including a twin-chamber passenger airbag, driver and front passenger airbags, front and rear side airbags, as well as full-length side curtain airbags, injury will be largely minimized. And, in the event of a rear-end collision, the LS activates the Pre-crash Seatbelt (PSB) by pretensioning the seatbelts to restrain the passenger.
