On January 16, 2018, as Foreign Ministers from 20 nations gather in Vancouver to discuss
security and stability on the Korean Peninsula, 16 women leaders representing peace,
environment, women’s and social justice movements from across Asia, Europe and North
America are also coming to Vancouver. WHY? To press Foreign Ministers to set the table
for a diplomatic process for the Korean Peninsula that moves us away from war and
more militarization and towards peace, reconciliation and genuine security.
As the summit gets underway inside, join the women’s peace delegation outside the
Vancouver Convention Centre for sharing from Korean women, to hear messages of solidarity
from around the world, and drumming and dancing for peace.
