LPS OVER THE COURSE OF TIME
1966 Deutsche Lufthansa AG creates the limited liability company Lufthansa Service GmbH asa wholly owned subsidiary, including the division Lufthansa Party Service. This is thebeginning of the one-of-a-kind success story that has continued to this day. LPS has 14locations nationwide and is constantly on the road both domestically and abroad on itsculinary mission to treat thousands of guests to one new taste sensation after another.These kinds of culinary experiences include the catering for “Das Deutsche Haus” within theframework of many summer and winter Olympic Games, as well as the organisation andcatering of state banquets and world-fair expositions.
2003 First award as “Caterer of the Year”
2004 Founding of LPS Event Catering GmbH
2008 Integration of LPS Event Catering GmbH and LPS Event Gastronomie GmbH under thecorporate umbrella of the Compass Group
2009 Compass takes over 100 per cent of LPS Event Catering towards further expansion of thecatering business.
2013 Merger and change of name from LPS Event Catering GmbH to Food affairs GmbH,including the brands Levy Restaurants and Levy Restaurants Eventcatering
2018 LPS relaunches under the direction of Oliver Wendel. A nationwide repositioning takes placein the course of this corporate relaunch. As a result, the premium provider conceptualisesand accompanies the first events involving several hundred to several thousand guests.
2018 In 2018, LPS joins LECA, the association of Germany's leading event catering companies.
2019 Nomination BrandEx Award and successful return to the top ten from the acclaimedBlachReport Ranking.
